I mean if Remix wasn’t obvious enough, do they not know that mount can be bought from 2 hour gameplay, or less, I almost want to say something, but they must know? right O.O?
Maybe for some, its not about the treasure, but about the hunt. I farmed Sha of Anger for years, and it finally dropped sometime arround the end of Legion i think. It was a great feeling. You wont get that feeling buying something at a vendor after two hours of farming bronze.
I will confess that i robbed myself of that feeling on the 3 other world boss mounts by buying them for bronze though x)
It was the opposite for me, I already had oondasta and sha mount but took great pride buying the others for 38500 know there was people who went 4000+ kills dry or spent gold cap at the bmah.
I mean if they bring Solar Spirehawk, I had 2,6k attempts on that, I won’t get mad though.
It’s an odd one, they could be bots, they could be people easily influenced by the negative comments about Remix, seeing as there’s still people who think the only way to get powerful is hyperspawn farming.
Or they could be hoping to save Bronze by getting the drop.
Whatever the reasons, it is strange when people are now swimming in Bronze, a few LFRs over a few days and they can buy whatever they want.
I got all the rare mounts the hard way and I’ve no ill feeling towards those finally getting a chance to stop relying on RNG
They should do recolors of the one’s you buy in remix and the hard drops on retail. Feels like future 0.1% drops is not worth going for cause one day something like remix will smack peoples hard work for a few hours grind.
After 10 years, id say those people had their moment in the sun. I farmed Sha of anger for years, and i couldnt care less that someone else got it in a couple of hours.
Obtaining these mounts prior to Remix was purely based on luck, being lucky is not a accomplishment.
My feeling is “great, that’s one off the checklist! I can go spend my time elsewhere now.”.
I agree with you 100% on that!
There were some mounts would take time/effort to obtain, but all the mounts in remix is a nobrainer to get and were the first things I focused on getting out the way with when I made this character.
Ha. Very useful comment from OP I didn’t realize you could get super rare drops from Remix
Taking this one step further what are the things I should get from Pandaria Remix above all (like the super rare mounts) ? I have about 70k bronze now and haven’t really started to spend much. And I’m speaking only in terms of rarity / difficulty to obtain of course I will also decide if I like it aesthetically or not.
Thanks in advance.
Remix you can pretty much buy all drops off Rares and World Bosses [mounts and toys], and a wide selection of ensembles from raids and such.
Main thing missing are pets.
Just quickly doing the dailies gets you 20k bronze within 15 minutes if you’re paired up with high geared players tearing through… unless you get caught up in some RP nonsense [Brew scenario and the dungeon with the Mantid waves boss].
You have a remix character, just go visit the vendors, use a Nostwin’s Voucher to get to the nearest one.
I guess a lot of people just ignore Remix. I was going to when I first heard about it.
It’s kind of like a season in an aRPG and there’s a lot of people that hate that seasonal style.
Been farming for the mounts since they added the soo skip last year. I wouldn’t care if people bought the mount I’d buy the tusk but I’d rather focus on season 4
I once killed several hundred Elagons to get a mount but eventually gave up on it, felt like a waste of time. Now I bought it, and it felt like “finally”.
Is it really “hard work” though?.. This is my “issue” with the low drop chance mounts in the game. Oondasta, Sha of Anger etc. takes no skill in retail, it’s almost like you have to sit ready because of how easily and fast they are being killed…
Sitting afk for 15-25 mins every day wouldn’t for me classify as “hard work”. It’s an RNG fiesta
I agree. It isn’t. This is coming from someone who got most of the MoP mounts by endless farming runs on several characters. One-shotting mobs on a few chars once a week is not “hard work” - especially when it is down to RNG or not.
The expansion is over a deacade old at this point. In spite of having farmed them the “hard” way myself, I have absolutely nothing against these mounts being added to a vendor.
Every “Rare” shouldn’t take longer than 5-10 minutes to respawn tbh, they already got a daily/weekly low drop chance to drop whatever… leave a few exceptions to long respawns with a 100% chance of their drop.
Hope Remixes become a thing for Season 4s of each expansion, adding the next Remix expansion while also bringing back older Remixes for those that missed it…
These Remixes are a nice reprieve for collectors to wipe out a chunk off their checklist with its expansion.
You do realise all MoP WB Mounts got buffed to 1% shortly after DF Prepatch went live?
And no, AFK Sitting 15 Minutes on multiple Alts a Weeks is no “Hard” work. This can be done mindlessly during HomeOffice.
Never farmed any of the Pandaria bosses with mount drops. Except occasional kill while flying by.
I’m super happy I could buy all the mounts in Remix with minimal effort knowing I saved my time and sanity while others used character cap to camp/farm/kill old content bosses… The Real Wow Gambling Slot Machine enjoyers. GG WP
