Thats how everyone feel when they come back, but all of that vanishes away once u spend 3-4 weeks playing.
I felt the same way you do,when i came back during late BFA,everyone was flaming BFA,i thought its the best expansion ever…Then it was the time to buy new gametime, which i did not.
All things end.Even your gameplay.Even your country.Even your life.Even your planet.Even your solar system. We just want wow to be as best game and live long as it is possible; while we still live in this tiny limited existance.(i didnt want to stress you with this kind of nihilism; but i wanted to give you a different perspective)
I do that sometimes. When we get frustated from game ; and think game is not progressing in good way ; and not fixing problems. We get tired, and sad. That thing is called ‘‘burned out’’. When that happens we go for few months, and come back. Some of us completely became charchoal and never come back. But sometimes we get rekindled like fire we rejoin our friends.Wow is like city, or country. You cannot really forget that.
The whole point of the forums is to discuss problems within the game, advertise guilds, and ask questions. That’s basically what a forum is wether it’s wow or outside of wow.
Even on Perfume forums you will see people complaining
And some of those complaints are valid. You haven’t even played the game properly yet, and your comparing yourself to people who played Shadowlands since the beginning
My post is mainly about nice xpac made by blizzard and I wanted to say good job to them and I wanted to see why people are so negative. For no reason as I can see now. What means nothing change. Whatever blizzard will do, always someone is going to cry like a baby. WOW IS DYING GUYS, from wotlk as everyone knows.
They won’t do that because without a sub they wouldn’t be able to whine about the game 24/7. Wow and Blizzard failing is the dream of their life and they feel like they have to make everyone know it. The forums are just a miserable place to be honest.
first off, the music and art team is great every expansion. while not taking away from their hard work, saying that the music/art makes wow great is avoiding the problem with the game. the music and art is just about the only things that ARE good in the game recently
and the lore, are you serious? have you not seen “im winning the war, oh a nelf mocked me, now im going to burn a city and get all the divided enemies to come after me”. no, the lore for bfa & sl has been poor at best.
and while some people complain, its cause there are some GLARING problems in the game which blizzard for whatever reason just ARE NOT addressing.
dead servers,
unbalanced factions,
wildly unbalanced classes,
the open world not being used to its potential,
timegating galore,
poor lore/story and plot armor,
constant rework of systems and borrowed powers,
bad gear acquisition,
hiding lack of enjoyable content under layers of rehashing content (M+, 4 raid levels, wq’s, achieves)
and many more.
while wow has some good points, more and more its going downhill. that some people dont see this will add to its decline.
and why do some people still play? as someone mentioned above, a significant portion of the playerbase is addicted in some way. its nothing more magical than that. really, i dont think many people would stick around to “complain/moan” on the forums if they genuinely did not like the game and could just leave.
it is still their choice to do that , there is multiple reasons and factors unrelating to the game which could make someone who doesnt fully enjoy the game continue playing it …
