Best response is just /laugh. Them getting riled up about something in a game is pitiable, feel sorry for them and either /laugh or give them a hug and tell them it will all be all right and the nasty people can’t hurt them…
Daaam…
I think I did /violin the two times someone bothered in prepatch. My friend got laughed at by mistake, he didn’t even have deluxe or boost. Think the person got a bit confused when targetting for the emote.
Imagine being so triggered by ingame emote that you have to make post about it…
They just understood that deluxe monut and portal do give them nothing but pity. People who donate in games, think that other who do not will jelous and praise them like a gods. But reality, as always, ruin everything.
wrong. the best response for angry nerds is either just “:)” or no response at all.
The same thing happened when they first introduced the Celestial Steed in the shop over 10 years ago. Totalbiscuit even made a video shaming everyone with the TRH (That Retarded Horse).
People got upset the first week, then it settled. This will too.
Microtransactions won’t stop because some players have decided they know best how others should spend their money.
For me, it had the opposite effect. I wasn’t planning on buying the deluxe version until I saw all the unfunded hate on the forums - so I bought it out of spite because I really couldn’t care less.
Hilarious
Right? What’s the difference?
Monetisation of Classic is offensive to some, emotes to others. I’ll never spit on a fellow player, and I’ll direct my upset at Blizzard. But calling it ‘trivial’ is wrong either way, the way I see it. And it just furthers the gap and ‘us vs them’ mentality. On both sides.
They are not trivial, but I was just making a point. But you formulated it way better.
It flew right over my head grins
(I blame all the “Stop being poor” comments hnnng.)
The poor comment are equally, if not more, as toxic as the people belittling other players. Imagine actually discriminating others for the amount of money they have, regardless if what they say is true or not.
This honestly makes me laugh more than anything else.
Buying something out of spite benefits nobody other than the person selling the product lol.
If you like the ugly mount, go ahead.
Just, buying it out of spite is just weird though.
Besides you can turn off emotes so half the time they won’t see it.
I haven’t bought one because it’s majorly ugly, I wanted to see it ingame first, but I did buy a boost, no /spits yet.
btw do you think I will get my retail Zhevra mount in TBCC? I got it during TBC.
Edit: I can prove when I got it as I already had it at the start of WotLK by my achievements.
It would have saved me getting exalted with Darnassus on my Shaman to get rid of the Elekk mount. Did it at 35 though.
Most people have lost their communal gear at this point, the only way to tell is the deluxe mount mostly or TCG hearthstone etc.
I haven’t turned emotes off, I like the fun emotes and my friends and I use them a lot. It’s definitely an option for those that are finding it upsetting to see some of the playerbase behave badly towards them.
I’m not sure about the Zhevra, I have that on Retail too xD
As opposed to all those people who get triggered when they see the new mount?
well got level 70 can fly and pee on peoples what spits
Let them be, I imagine they are virgins living in their moms basement because they don’t have a degree to earn proper €€€.
are u talking about Asmond
I’m unable to translate this.
Why are you peeing on people?
