In case anyone hasn’t seen, or isn’t on twitter
Shill…
I hate those ‘follow me’ beggary.
I have joined and followed all sorts of things in the past to enter competitions
There are options like mute to stop getting any updates etc if you really don’t want to follow a page/person on twitter.
I get free Wowhead Premium… #happy
Only competitions I have won have been ‘draw this’ fan art competitions and only, when done by official teams (devs, artists).
So I have actually given up on any fan/follow me competition as I believe those are fake.
I enter giveaways not expecting to win anything… that way I don’t get disappointed if I get nothing.
I very much doubt Perculia is faking her giveaway, and many streamers/content creators etc are given things by Blizz to giveaway.
I never win anything so not worth bothering lol
I won over $200 worth of stuff from one giveaway. You just never know!
For a game I don’t even play. I gave the ‘season pass’ to my husband and the headset and I kept the Razer mouse and other goodies for myself
True, you gotta be in it to win it, but I set expectations low.
Indeed, I entered the Raider.IO competition for the long boi. I didn’t win but I didn’t expect to.
Perc. is just one public face of a way bigger organisation, so it’s not in her own interests to pull a fast one.
Sure they do ‘give away’ things, but hardly to ‘random of random’ people. ‘like my post’ and ‘follow me’ are just lame conditions in my books, that’s all.
It’s just a form of like farming, and I believe the competition bots they use to generate a random winner require the people to be following.
I was genuinely just trying to be nice with this share though.
It is not that i do not trust people… I do not trust people.
You could be winning my heart UwU
Why would I want to feed someone else’s narcisism? Social media has been nothing but crap. Look at the kinds of people it produced.
I could do so much with this
She isnt an ego she works on wowhead no idea why people are being up in arms about this . You dont even have to follow according to the rules.
