The Perfect Blackfathom Pearl is currently not valuing players time.
You call this season of discovery and want people to experiment new builds but yet you lock people at the early stages with Perfect Blackfathom Pearl.
Most affected class is obviously druid who can have feral+balance+ healer spec. Same goes for mages, priests and anything that can do more than one role
In P2 pearl will also be best in slot for PvE so if I continue as boomie, i will be at a small disadvantage compared to my peers.
Pearl Quest SHOULD be repeatable especially that it is a game defining item.

Youāve been smoking some bad Silverleaf, mate. The trinket you get from Perfect Blackfathom Pearl is not a āgame defining itemā. Being able to change the reward for after doing the quest once would suffice. Pay a 20s to change it to a different trinket.

11 spellpower deficit is pretty huge.

I just picked the safe option on my priest, went for the bonus spelldmg. Atleast it can function as both a dps and abit of healing trinket.
Why should an item be swapped just because it is BiS for now? Your choices have consequences and this is one of them. Get the second place BiS for your other spec.
In 5 days it will be replaced with something else.

11 SP trinket is still BiS in Phase 2 so it wont be replaced in 5 days lol.
You are lucky you got 1 pearl, just be happy

well, if its bis at 40, its bis at 40.
and with runes changing some classes spec-balances fundamentally, being able to swap a trinket that WAS optimal, and no longer is, is reasonable.
small bump to say visit Rixxit in booty bay. he now sells the trinkets for 75 gās. so no need to repeat the handin.
Hefty price but I guess we will be making tons of gold at 40 anyway. At least I wonāt feel gimped anymore.
Itās not really the same. You need to delete the trinket to ābuyā a new one for a hefty 75g.
You canāt have one equipped and the other for off-spec in the bank.
You canāt use the second Perfect Pearl you looted again since everyone in your raid already did the Q.
Itās effectively useless loot at this point.
Itās nice there is āsomeā workaround now, but it is crazily clumsy. Why even bother making the trinket Unique over Unique-Equipped? That could have perfectly stayed as-is for those who spent the 75g on their secondā¦
terrible design. i needed 2nd and won and i canāt use it. and someone lost it vs me. i feel bad now
