I’m writing here, since automated responses to my ticket are utterly useless.
In Dragonfilght I started to experience performance issues after yesterday’s update
Suddenly, on my RTX 4060, i9-13900KF and 32 GB RAM, in Valdrakken I get 35-40 fps (it used to be stable 55-60). Same thing happens in raids, where I have separate, lower settings and rarely dropped bellow 60 fps during fights, so I don’t think it’s an increased amount of players due to start of new season.
Nothing else has changed, except updating some addons as usual.
Closing other programs and rebooting PC doesn’t help, lower fps persists.
I did SSD scan, verified WoW files, updated GPU drivers, running game as admin, hardware temperatures are in normal range. Everything is fine on my end, but still experiencing fps drops compared to baseline from until yesterday
There has been mass reports of performance issues and its been since patch 10.0
I have seen a AMD 7950X3D and a 4090 in rated bgs and Valdrakkan struggle big time - 30-40 fps.
Intel like my self are having issues…
PS: US forums are reporting performance issues as well.
Yesterday (day before patch 10.2.7) I turned off all addons and activated them all one by one and that helped for some reason. After the patch the issue seems to be resolved completely for me. Average fps in Valdrakken is 55, so as it used to be. Maybe Blizzard fixed something, maybe it was indeed and addon issue. We will never know…
