Hey, im wondering if any addons listed in the Curseforge Software can lead to a ban for cheating ?
Is using this weak aura : AoE Threat Overview considered cheating ?
I have no ram optimizing stuff running. not even using the mouse software for macros, and in general no macros beeing used.
I played a lot when tbc started, but dungeon grinding in random grps and no spot farming or what so ever..
Still my account was perma banned, when i was doing kara trash farm runs.. My acc is old as wow and i dont have any stuff running, that shouldnt be running i would say.
First answer to my appeal was automated repetition of what was send in a mail.
I am confused why i lost the account for no reason. there is no live chat or any other way to reach out support ?

No reason? But you said, “cheating” here. Did you receive a cheating template?
Huh? But you said yourself that you reached out to them with an appeal? It’s correct that you can’t live chat them, not in the past either because appeals were handled through ticket.
An appeal is a means for you to request a review and not a means for you to discuss the ban.
A new human GM will be assigned to check it over and then select one of the few appropriate templates to your case. In your case, it was the upheld template, likely.
You may appeal again using the same method or through ticket. We’ve seen a couple overturns or ban reductions if you’re not from a criminal organisation.
