Hey, do you guys know if there is any way to delete certain characters permanently? Like even from the restoring page? I know this is a system that was implemented so if people change their mind they can restore their characters, but what about the ability to permanently deleting them? is there any way? I don’t know why but It bothers me so much to not be able to “clean” my account from certain characters.
Currently characters level 50 or over remain restorable but lower levels eventually fall off the list with under 10s not being restorable. Customer support can’t delete them for you either.

Ty for the info, I find this to be really weird. Why on Earth can’t I delete my characters completely if I want to lmfao. Such a blizzard moment.
Because then we’ll get people whining they want to un-undelete the now delete-deleted binned toons.
The entire reason why they added the Undelete Toons feature in the first place because Support got swamped with them so much.

Its to prevent people from losing characters they either deleted by accident, regret deleting or got deleted as part of an account being hacked/compromised. At least this way the issues with deleted characters don’t have to go through Blizzard’s customer service team which is a good thing since their team (or bots) are just terrible.
So the lack of such a function is “weird” but being bothered about the inability to delete an entry from a database isn’t?

My “bin” is full of level 10 allied races “test” characters that never get deleted, but my old priest that was like 100 at the time is gone for good. I really don’t understand this system.

why do u wanna delete chars so hard? just dont play them???
thats odd. my first toon i made in early 2006 and deleted sometime in wotlk, i think i restored in late legion. wonder why yours is gone for good :\
Its a psychological thing. Im the same.
I want my account clean. Its bugging me when I know there is a character waiting to be restored in the restoration section.

I´m guessing you have mild to severe OCD?
I actually did something similar for my ex-girlfriend many years ago (it was about restoring deleted characters in the right order and permanently deleting two characters)
Write a Ticket with your diagnosis (maybe attach you disability card) and they will help. They did at least a decade ago.
… where can you see this bin of all deleted characters? Intrigued now as to how many I have in there 
There’s a restore deleted character button at the bottom of the character select screen

Well first, I never said it’s not weird but excuse me for feeling weird not having complete control over my account in a videogame when I played a hundreds of videogames (including other mmo’s) and I never had any restrictions over the control of my account?

On the character selection screen in the bottom right you should have an undelete option, that will bring up a list. Looks like an undo button, kind of.
It should bring up a list (if there are any eligible characters. Mine doesn’t seem to clear out and it’s been years.

Just had a look now, never noticed the icon before - appear to have 7 in there, but clearly only from the past couple of years, the rest going back 19 years are long gone

work on your mind then, buddy. your mind is stronger than you think - find online methods to deal with OCD if you have these issues. None of that should bother you.

Nothing wrong with wanting to keep things organised and clean. Even desktop has the option to empty your recycling bin.
People telling you to get psychological help over it though are the ones who need help.

mental troubles are not something to be maintained for the sake of being true to yourself.
The real life check is to see how strong you can be.
if not being able to delete a character from a bin puts you off - you do have a problem.
the system of no prema delete of chars is perfect so rage-deleters don’t have to spam multiple tickets or regret forever. Also - if your account gets hacked, the hacker can’t perma delete your characters. It’s a great safeguard. Catering to people succumbing to OCD would cause more troubles than it’s worth.
