Persistent disconnect issues despite multiple troubleshooting steps

Hello Blizzard Community,

My name is Eleni, and I have been struggling with frequent disconnections in World of Warcraft for quite some time now. I have followed every recommended troubleshooting step, including:

  • Using a wired Ethernet connection
  • Resetting my router and PC multiple times
  • Checking network configurations via CMD (ping, tracert)
  • Updating drivers and Windows
  • Reinstalling the game cleanly

Despite all this, the issue remains unresolved. I have contacted Blizzard Support and Game Masters several times, who confirmed that they cannot escalate the issue further, and advised me to report it here.

Interestingly, when I play on the Ravencrest server, I experience no disconnects at all, which strongly suggests that the problem might be server-specific or related to routing on Blizzard’s end.

I would appreciate any insights or suggestions from the community or Blizzard’s technical team that can help solve this persistent problem. It’s frustrating to lose hours of gameplay and even addons profiles due to these interruptions.
