Persistent Warlock Pet Bug

Hello. I’ve had this problem since dragonflight season 3 and I reported it as a bug but nothing has been done to address it. I’m afraid it will never get fixed unless we raise a stink over it, and I know for a fact I’m not the only one experiencing this issue.

It’s about the Felguard, but also warlock pets in general.

Every time I resummon my Felguard, it gets reset completely. It has a different name, and all the pet action bar adjustments I make disappear in favor of the default blizzard arrangement. Also the felguard weapon glyph doesn’t work most of the time for me.

Warlock demons aren’t supposed to work like Unholy DK pets that always get a new name when they are summoned. I haven’t had this issue with any of my other demons, just the Felguard. I don’t care about the demon’s name but losing all my pet-related keybindings with each summon is genuinely game-ruining because the whole pet gets reset. I have to manually drag the passive, assist, stay, follow buttons to where they are supposed to be every single time I summon my Felguard. This brings me to the other issue, which is not spec specific.

My demons never attack anything unless I explicitly command them to with the pet attack button. They are NOT on passive mode. They are always on assist, but they never defend me from mobs or do ANYTHING unless I force them into combat. The pet defensive stance option is completely defunct.

Also the pet action bar doesn’t have enough buttons to accommodate all the active abilities a Felguard has.

These are very severe bugs and overlooked issues and they have been around for a long time. Please fix, ty.

I had this issue with all non FG demons.
Shadow Sayaad, Shivarra or Fel temptress all had a bug when their names got changed every now and then. This was fixed for me when I several times changed the name of my Sayaad, and then All other versions got fixed. Sadly I have lost original name of my sayaad.
