Hello I am fed up with this loot system in raids.
Its anxiety and greed causin system.
Can we have PL back pls ?

PL with no trade restrictions and the game will be less garbage immediately.

That overgeared person you see roll need in a item for transmog (and remember if has at least normal one cant roll at the lfr version) is 10 out of 9 times hard carrying bad people that raid and does it only for transmog. Its not there to boost people for free. If they want boost there are people selling at trade services lol.

Truth is PL prevented the anger vs a person in commity
PL was for me a safty for players also atleast u had more chance on a upgrade.
Current state u can do a raid get nada nop nothing.
I realy lost alot respeckt for the ones at the top at blizzard.

SAdly all blizzard was diver anger of a player on a other player nothing more nothing less And they knew this.
This is correct because i would never loot the item from boss and would let it come to mailbox when i would do an lfr or EVEN a pug nm/hc. I didn’t want people to see what i got unless i really would trade it.
This is incorrect as explained many times: you still had a hidden roll to win. You could always win items YOU DIDN’T NEED-WEREN’T UPGRADES. Its not any difference with now that you can change loot spec every boss and roll as main that item. Its the same with PL that you would change loot spec to target specific item. There is a SMALL chance it worked good in a very organised guild run that EVERYONE could loot spec tank and help tank get a tanking trinket (MAYBE) or a healing trinket instead of 3-5 random items to drop.
We already play with “master loot” as a guild (loot council) with auto pass every item using an addon. It’s something we decided as guild.
I was in the old days in guild raids
ML= lets check if frends and officers first need loot. Espelly frends and GF of guild leader cuze else hey wont get his… and will be unhappy

PL is just not perfeckt but much more safty the point of raids is fun and loot.
But i seen old days Master loot stil some believe that it works.
It works fine for some but thats not many.
Loot councels is askin for guild corruption.

I also don’t like the idea of group loot and rolling a dice. I know it’s always RNG, but the idea of “dice rolling” makes me uncomfortable, because it is gambling in the end, and it creates situations, where people roll for items in pugs to sell them after. This makes the wow token even more powerful than it already is as a p2w mechanic.
I kind of “accepted” that the game is p2w to some extend, but do we really want it to go even more in that direction? Have you seen what is going on in wrath of the lich king classic? … Do we really want the game to go into that territory of gold bidding?
This just sound like a mediocre bad guild = red flag to leave.
ML is a great tool if used correctly.
Example: X item (lets say a trinket) is the undisputable best in slot for 2 classes and beats second trinket when you sim. Same time its a very strong trinket for other 5 players but its a top 3, top 2 at best. If guild is smart first two drops will go to the 2 players that is bis since the other players have an alternative option (might be a mythic plus trinket) they can farm instead.
Personal example i got both first grieftorch and beacon for my guild because i play windwalker and it beats at sims every other dps spec we had in raid.
Yes but its very very few guilds that than ML or run a good loot councel.

The easy solution is to integrate group loot into personal loot.
Simply have loot distributed as PL initially, the people who recieve a piece of loot will have a box popup with the choices “keep loot” or “add to group loot”.
If you keep it, its yours, if you send it to group loot other people get to roll for it.
Oh and bring back bonus roll coins.

Most guilds these days are just officer cliques that would abuse the hell out of ML. i dont mind PL if its optional as i much prefer group loot.
