Blizzard need to bring back personal loot in raiding. I have been raiding since release on my main character and won one item on roll, ONE! Some people keep rolling high no matter what, I had one guy rolling 100 on two items on one boss! My friend that playes a druid has insane gear, he win everything he roll on, but my rolls are from 1-20, and when I first roll high someone out rolls me big time. I can’t progress in mythic + dungeons because I never get loot there either. Been spamming the same dungeons over and over and nothing, just my weekly vault that gives me loot. BRING BACK PERSONAL LOOT.
Imagine if blizzard would give us option to run raid as master loot, group loot or personal loot and raid leader would pick one at the start of raid. But no they had to go from group/master loot only to personal only into group/master loot only like the game would break if we had an option to pick one of three.
I miss Personal Loot, it’s so hard to gear in raids now
Also people still need as they had better gears. But need mog too.
If they ignore click “mog”. Worried for dont get mog if which needed it and they won.
For sure.
Group loot (and/or master loot) for guild runs, to make loot council or more specifically, proper distribution easier and then personal loot for pugging.
For everybody who misunderstands why personal loot is a benefit or is just going to use “it’s the same rolls behind the scenes” argument.
There are two reasons why this is not true.
- Personal loot did not punish you for stacking classes or armour types, in fact, it rewarded it.
- In a standard 10 man raid, you would get at least 2 drops (this is not to say they would be useful for you) whereas in group loot, you could quite possibly lose every roll).
We sure do love d/eing those three bows every week. Even guilds benefit more from PL. Guilds managed fine distributing all the loot even with PL.
Hahaha, we get at least 1 DH glaive per week, I only have so many arms.
I want personal loot back in LFR so I can loot something without other players being toxic with me because I won’t trade them my loot.
Yes yes I can report, block, and move on. But you know…it’s nice to be able to just be happy about getting loot instead of bracing yourself for insults.
M+ dungeons actually have personal loot. You just got unlucky. Loot system wouldn’t change that. What you want is some kind of badges that you can get guaranteed from every boss and buy loot with those badges, removing part of RNG from the system.
If we’re talking about personal loot, I’d add that I’d prefer to have any kind of trade disabled. I’m too shy of asking anyone to give their loot to me, and I don’t like that being shy puts me to disadvantage.
Keep dreaming
Getting loot in LFR is the worst, you’re always against people needing on everything.
Wish they’d make ‘transmog’ versions of items that are strictly cosmetic into LFR at least, or make higher difficulty versions unlock all variants below it.
AND BRING BACK BONUS ROLLS GOD DAMN IT!
I like rolling more.
It means you have the chance to get more than 1 item per boss.
I have won plenty on both normal & heroic.
7 items from the raid currently equipted. Tho i have replaced 2 items i’ve won already so that’s 9 items won from the raid, I also traded away 1 thing i won to someone else, that makes it 10 items.
Yeah, i like this loot system more than personal loot
Bonus rolls are in the vault now.
Bonus rolls were targetable on the boss you wanted loot off.
Yeah thats true, but blizz didnt like it so thus the change.
Clicking on “Transmog” should roll out a cosmetic version of the item instead of the actual gear tbh…
Least then that’ll stop people doing LFR hitting NEED on gear for transmogs from people that legitimately need it as an upgrade.
I like this and will dial it to 11: Clicking Transmog automatically does 2 things. 1st you 100% always get the item as appearance. No rolls, no competition, 100% you earn the look. 10 people click transmog? 10 people get the look.
2nd, you automatically pass, which means that players who roll Need/Greed have even less competition and higher chance of earning loot.
This would help people both gear up faster, and also allow transmog farmers to be done faster with the grind.
At least make need rolled items un-tradeable, like they used to be but blizz decided to remove it?
Every PuG I join people are needing everything they can to either give to their friends or sell. Seriously, you can just auction needed items who designed this?
Plz bring back personal loot…
