So today i started my journey to become a world of pokemon master, as blizzard now award 250 rep point when winning against one of these legendary pet battles in nazjatar or mechagon (a very odd way to award rep if u ask me, half of my guild have no also started their journey to become pokemon masters)

The pets im using are: Anubisath Idol, Ikky, Molten corgi and unborn valkyr. These are my only lvl 25 pets and i lvld them through the garrison questes which allows one to lvl up 1 pet to lvl 25.

Do i need any more specifik pets? Some of these legendary pets are a real challenge, and can basically sometimes 1 or 2 shot my pets. The one im having the most issues with atm is Giant Opaline Conch.

Ive never been into pet battling, and have 0 exp regardind pet battles, but the rep they give for pathfinder p2 is just too good to not get some of.

Any tips would be very appreciated!

Choose BfA in the menu and then Mechagon and Nazjatar. Lots of methods.

Combinations based on Ikky and Unborn Val’kyr are popular. You can buy Ikky.You can buy most of the pets there. You can use them and then sell them again. You can even trade them among your guildies so you can all use them.

You have to capture and level the Valk, though. https://www.warcraftpets.com/wow-pets/undead/miscellaneous/unborn-val-kyr/ and choose the Location tab. It only takes 15 minutes to get a Valk, but strategies tend to assume Blue quality; I don’t know how well a Green, White, or Grey would do.

But most of the pets are common cageables that you can buy and sell. Just pay attention to breeds. They can be very important where specified. Someone recently commented that most things on Mechagon can be done with two Mechanical Pandaren Dragonlings and a third pet

These legendary pets does insame dmg, the Ravenous Scalespawn just oneshoted one of my pets lol. Seems legit

It’s really a cross between mental arithmetic and a strategy game like Chess. Except that in simple PvE battles like these, you know what your opponent is going to do before he does it, making it pretty trivial, so skill and smarts are not needed when following instructions.

But you do need a range of tools in your toolbox to deal with the different situations, and that’s where you’re going to need the AH … or find and bribe someone with a large collection. :stuck_out_tongue:

Most of them can be beaten with simple Valkyr+Ikky + anything. Curse of doom, Unholy ascension, Black CLaw and Flock.

I’ve done all of them. Unborn Valkyr, Ikky and Darkmoon tonk can do all of them. I used Unborn, Ikky and Direbeak hatchling for most of them except for themech ones who have a shield spell.

You can technically do it with any combination, but the naz ones you can win in 3 moves with Unborn and ikky so you have a 100% winrate. Mechagon is a bit more RNG but unborn and ikky will still kill everything in 3 or 4 moves if the enemy pet doesn’t crit you twice and kill ikky before you can use flock.

Im using Ikky, unborn valkyr and molten corgi, also got anubisath idol at max lvl, and just now bought a lvl 25 chrominius, but im having a real struggle with Giant Opaline Conch, either he oneshots my pet or my pet kills himself with the reflect dmg.

I dont know if this is a bugg, but for some reason he charges my pet so my pet flies far away and so another of my pets gets summoned, even tho the pet i started with acually didnt die.

Tips for this one would be appreciated. Ive found a lof of different guides but they all use different combo of pets and this confuses an unxpd pokemon player like me even more. M+ is more my territory :stuck_out_tongue:

It is, but it’s a two edged sword; it’s also a crutch for people who don’t want to work things out for themselves.

is a strategy using a P/P breed Anklerender (or Kneebiter would also do) by an experienced strat-maker. Maybe your Chrominius’ Surge of Power would serve instead of the Threah used in that strat.

Having your pets swapped out is a standard move. No bug, nothing special there.

Oh yeah I forgot about that boss. Yeah like Grainne said, Anklerender is good for it, Black Claw into hunting party. I didn’t have anklerender so I used the Footslasher, got black claw from ikky and used footslashers bloodfang and hunting party

No idea what P/P is. So different breed to different stuff?

Yup.

P/P is only power, some are combinations like Power & Health, Power & Speed etc.

Yes. That’s one of the common mechanics.

I just went to look, and I can’t believe the pet prices on your realm for an Anklerender or Kneebiter. They’re normally a few hundred to a couple of thousand. Ouch.

The prices went off the charts at the new patch. Lot of raiders willing to pay whatever for a quick fix? :stuck_out_tongue:

i dont mind battling pet to get rep, but the prices on Tarren mill is insane, ive alrdy spend like 70k on pets just today :stuck_out_tongue:

Sadly i dont have any other chars on different realms, and if i did, that toon would simply not have the gold for it.

The cheapest lvl 25 darkmoon tonk on Tarren mill goes for 60k buyout and highest priced one is 99k. Darkmoon zepelin starts from 60k and also 99k this one :sweat_smile:

Jeez, the tonk is about 70k on kazzak too. The G0-R41 ultratonk might be a decent alternative as well, requires a bit more RNG, but it has ion cannon and demolish does more damage than shock and awe but with a 50% hit chance.

Wow. Prices of Anklerenders on TM were 150 G before patch, now 32K. :rofl:

I can lend you a P/P Kneebiter - same as Anklerender - for long enough to get it done?

Problem from the description seems to be you need a fast flying pet to avoid whatever comes next, so maybe Surge of Power won’t do it.

I have made so much gold on these pets, so easy to get Ikky especially and you get 30 pet charms per character per day, that’s 60k from doing 4 pet battles.

I hope it never drops back down
