I had yesterday some real good roleplay that reminded me of the old times in Duskwood.
Just came up with the idea that I wanna do some N’Zoth cultist roleplay. Figured my tauren sunwalker (Now he is a void knight since I have the entire LFR purple void paladin set) would be a perfect match with the Garrosh purple axe with eyes. Created the character and ran around in Duskwood. Took 5 minutes until I came across a friend of mine who did some N’Zoth cultist stuff. Took another 5 minutes to find ANOTHER who did. Three citizens of Duskwood trying to fight one, as my character and another of us approaches the three are like “Oh, erm… three is too much!” and they run, which was amazing roleplay. So we are three cultists. My characters suggests we free a troll he heard about in the barn held prisoner.
The N’Zoth squad arrives infront of the barn, goes in, we set the troll out of his prison. Some fighting happens and the troll escapes. While my character and the other two fight against people. Nobody got really hurt and my character turned into some black puddle ooze and is currently healing himself.
My friend told me that one guy went temporarly insane. This was peak roleplay fun right there and reminded me so much of the old times in Duskwood when actual cult roleplay took place and people were afraid and all to meet them. Same friend told me that the guys we encountered enjoyed the roleplay a lot so we will do definetly more of that in the next days and weeks.

Made an allied race DK, got access to the new weapons.
And the 1H frost swords go with my lady belf DK. Finally can stop using blades of the fallen prince.
Had my first night’s proper sleep in eight days. I feel so good.

During mantid invasions, Mistfall village is fully reclaimed and even the villagers are back.
This means that, after N’zoth is canonically dead with the release of the last LFR wing, we can go back to having events there if we schedule them to be during the mantid assaults (ie, 3.5 days every other week - 25% uptime).

Watched Black Swan yesterday. Honestly such a great movie, I was blown away. Everything about it was amazing. The imagery, atmosphere, the music, the camerawork, the themes, the main character’s inner conflict… and of course Natalie Portman’s mindblowing acting. Feels like whatever I will watch next will pale in comparison.
I saw it at the cinema, and left midway.
Was told that I am getting a promotion in 2 months. Feels very pog, motivates to do stuff.

Finally installed new light bulbs in my ceiling after having only used my desk lamp since moving into this flat last summer. Everything’s so bright!

It’s a bit of a bittersweet delight. On one hand I have decided to leave WoW, the quality of the lore in BFA and lack of time to dedicate to consistent RP being a large part of it.
However, RP was always a way to express creativity to me. It is almost like an addiction, I get such a buzz off creating things like characters and stories. As such I have decided to build a world of my own liking and perhaps even write a novel about it. It has given me an excuse to delve into Celtic mythology (specifically Irish) which it is heavily based on.
And I must saw I love it, I work at my own pace. There is no pressure to meet event times. It is something I think about most of the time in work. A massive undertaking don’t get me wrong and can be quite daunting but still fills that itch that wow RP left behind

I felt inspired by a message Kump sent me on discord about and took an opportunity to write a little short bit about what is happening to Akamito during the void incursion.
It felt good to dabble in his story again, even if I can’t really do it in-game.

Got a weapon corruption effect that, even with my casual-at-best understanding of DPS meters, seem to pack a pretty solid punch. I like that we’ve had things switched up a bit from random ilvl procs in Titanforging.
Couldn’t agree more. Writing character stories, when the inspiration is there, can be very rewarding.

My weekly chests were surprisingly good. A belt with a top-tier corruption and a 475 chest with BiS traits. Perfect.
