I’ll just reference the latter bit and agree that the new questing experience is, indeed, awesome. I’m currently leveling a warrior through Outland (just got to Shattrath), and it’s been one hell of a ride. Coincidentally, Outland is one of the few regions remaining in retail that still retain that “Classic” feel, as most of the quests (and quests texts - very important), have not been altered. And I do love that Classic feeling.
I killed a bunch of beasts and demons. I put forlorn spirits to rest. I joined an orc death knight in an invasion on a doom guard’s lair while listening to the Doom Eternal soundtrack. I helped a Blood Elf magistrix unveil the identity of her late husband’s lover, and execute JUST RETRIBUTION.
All in all, leveling has been super fun lately.

Had an enjoyable RP night which was of the types I used to RP before, more about travelling and certain companions. Was good to have such again.

I’m glad we have people like you! It’s the exact opposite way for me, I hate healing (with a burning passion), while talking is what I love doing.
Also, I went to the Shanma (think I misspelled it) yesterday, super nice event to honour and remember the kaldorei dead. 10/10 would put 
in 
again.
Super excited because its only 9 weeks until I start my training for my new job as a submariner and everyone in the group chat is friendly to a shy bean like me

I am extra glad they did this -before- SL launch rather than after.
This means the bots won’t get a chance to amass big stockpiles of mats.

Kind of a shame its not warrior only.
Hosting my first server/RP PvP event was a success, based on people’s reaction about enjoying it. I’m quite thankful, especially cause of those who helped with hosting.
Also playing some HotS games with a friend at nights is quite fun and chill. I’m glad.
Enjoying retribution paladin so far. The rotation feels straightforward, relatively fast-paced, and fluid. It’s also very solo-friendly, with two major defensive cooldowns and a lot of self-healing.
In other news, looks like I’m finally going somewhere with that Warcraft D&D campaign plan I had. I’ve got five players and we’ve finally found a time when we can gather for session zero online (the games themselves will be in person). Fingers crossed that everyone can make it.

Played a lower-teen-levels Adventurers League session as a Life cleric, with a second Life cleric in the party. I felt somewhat bad for the DM because we ended up not needing any clever tactics: we just healed our way through everything the adventure threw at us.
I was reminded that the Gnomeregan Gnews Gnetwork was in fact a thing Blizzard did back in the day. There were audio clips as well iirc, though I can’t seem to find those anymore.

I’ve used the pre-patch time to hunt some old achievements and finally got the ‘Higher Learning’ one from Dalaran. Although hunting books may not sound like the most exciting activity, the books do have quite fun pieces of lore!
