Hello,
I am experiencing a persistent bug with Hunter pets in Burning Crusade Classic.
My active pet frequently disappears after entering dungeons, battlegrounds, or changing zones.
This has happened multiple times on different Hunters (level 60 and level 19 twink).
The pet is not dead, not dismissed, and cannot be recalled. The only solution is taming a new pet, making the class unplayable.
Please investigate this issue.

I would like to add more information about this issue because it keeps happening.
My hunter pets keep disappearing constantly. This has been happening for several weeks now.
It happens on two of my hunter characters:
Chromeheart – Spineshatter – Level 19
Ymæ – Thunderstrike – Level 60
The pets disappear in many different situations: while playing normally, while AFK, after reconnecting to the game, and even during battlegrounds or dungeons.
Sometimes the pet stays for 5 minutes, sometimes 20 minutes, but eventually it disappears and I no longer have any active pet. When I try to call the pet again, the game says I do not have a pet anymore, so I have to tame a new one again.
This problem makes it impossible for me to properly play my hunters. I also used a level 58 boost on my level 60 hunter and I cannot progress normally because the pets keep disappearing.
I have already sent many bug reports in the game for several weeks but the problem still continues.

Do you feed your pet to make sure its happy?
If its unhappy it will disappear.
I came here to say this. If the pets only stay for 5-20 minutes, it sure sounds like it needs to be fed.
The optimal thing to do is to check on Petopia which food your pet eats.

and get a stack at relevant level.
If you should finnd yourself with an unhappy pet and no food, you can make the pet “stay” and run off, which will make it despawn and give you time to get food before calling it to you again.
