I understood that, which is why I was asking as I am now a bit confused. Did he actually encounter some donkey buttox trying to be a tough guy, or was it 100% fabrication?
I don’t know. Do you see the post I have made?
Although I think it only works for the server threads. I can’t seem to post on any of the main threads.
it was all false, he whole point was to make a story that would trick people, while those who got the reference would find it funny. I only added in the notice because I like Murkresh and I don’t want to pull a fast one on him.
Reaching 116 and reading the message “You have unlearned [Talent]”. The whole progress system in BfA is completely fu**ed up. Sure we always became weaker while leveling but this time around it somehow feels even worse.
The class legendary ring (Soul of the Deathlord/Archmage/etc.) gives you a free talent so when you hit 116 your ring deactivates and you unlearn the talent =_=
Some bus-stops have multiple buses passing through that follow different routes, so it makes sense for drivers not to just stop when there’s somebody there who doesn’t signal.
I recall at a particular train-station there was a toilet you couldn’t enter without payment via phone, so we would just put a couple of free newspapers on the ground so the door couldn’t fully close.
… Stupid system.
Yep. I mean sure I understand why this happens and all that but reading in the chat that you just unlearned a talent AFTER you got a level…feels like a reverse-RPG.
Peeve: the focus on mobile gaming combined with apparently ignoring the original fans on PC/Consoles.
“Let’s announce this mobile version of Command and Conquer. Surely the fans will love it. We’re pretty confident nobody remembers the hack job we did with Dungeon Keeper mobile.”
“Let’s announce this mobile version of Diablo. Surely the fans will love it. They have phones.”
“Let’s announce this mobile version of Alien: Isolation. The announcements of C&C and Diablo blew up in their faces, but surely the fans will love this.”
Making up for my slacking with three peeves in a row!
Uno: The moonpriestess garb has texture stretching going on around the butt.
Dos: Ordering Matthias Shaw to recruit troops is done by asking him about research as if he were Alleria. Horde does not have this problem.
Tres: A few allied races generally look awful in mogs not tailored to their weird and amazing visuals. Dark iron fires, Lightforged golden glow, void elf, it’s all a very specific look.
growls menacingly and force chokes the polite Imperial
And I honestly blame the Chinese Market for this sudden desire to make every game be a mobile game. Apparently due to the massive work order China has a habit of enforcing, people there spend most of their leisure activity on phones, so no wonder the avarice fueled western market would capitalize on their massive population and start making mobile games. I mean it’s definitely not for us westerners, we know that games are best played on a powerful platform where it doesn’t involve our fingers getting in the way.
Not to mention the general design of games has to be simple in order to fit a phone. While simple can be good, mobile phone simple is not so good.
If more mobile games were like Armello, KotoR, Baldurs Gate, etc, and more mobile games let you use a controller, I wouldn’t be fussed.
Sadly the former doesn’t exploit gambling addictions to make billions and the latter is hampered by phones not having an easy and inexpensive way to connect a controller compared to any other platform.
Pretty much. The only reason they won’t make an effort on these mobile adaptations, is because they can’t quite properly exploit people with gambling problems, or take advantage of idiot children who want microtransactions.
Speaking of which… I am annoyed when I see people react with aggressive apathy when someone says “Stop the publishers from taking advantage of people with gambling addictions”. Essentially dismissing any concerns and essentially say “Don’t buy, stop complaining and gtfo, or buy and ess tee eff uuu”.
Yeah, tell people to shut up when they raise something of a concern that goes two ways: Concern for the fellow man, and concern that the heavy spender is gonna pretty much make things get worse because “Lootboxes are profitable, stuff them in all our games!”
Meanwhile there are developers like Grinding Gear that essentially blocked someone’s ability to purchase their local Gambleboxes in order to help him protect himself from his gambling demons.
In the Triple A Industry, a suggestion like that would be grounds for a public castration+execution. What a world we live in…
Also, “gtfo” doesn’t get blocked, but ess tee eff uuu does? So much for consistency…
They don’t really engage with the US forms either, other than to mock and belittle them.
Considering the eloquence of Moon Guard posting, I can’t blame them but come on, the EU forums are actually more active than the US ones. The game has more players in Europe than North America.
The raiders and pvpers are (mostly at least) European with some Asian.
nope, only demographic that matters is the dwindling US players.
I have so many places I could put Chieun and I don’t know what to pick.
She’ll be staying out of the fight for at least another half a year due to having a kid, probably longer, but after that? She’s clearly wanted in the Leaf, she could go back to bashing Sylvanas followers with her new alliance friends (as invited by Jaggerhawk), but the temptation to go back to Chyou’ka and help make Ronin reach its full potential and keep doing their badass duo adventures is real.
I’mma pull the “personal responsibility” card here. Should shops stop selling alcohol in order to stop people becoming alcoholics? Should take-aways stop selling high calorie food in order to tackle obesity? Should casinos close their doors? If someone has problems in their life caused by their own lack of self control then that’s on them. Demanding companies cater to the weakest link is not only draconian, it’s absurd.
That said. Lootboxes are gambling and shouldn’t be in games available to children just like kids can’t buy cigarettes and alcohol. Children should be protected until they’re old enough to decide for themselves if they’re going to partake in these vices in moderation or just ruin their lives and indulge to the extreme.
