I think my pet peeve is WoD. I’m levelling another character through it right now, and it’s reminding me of the lost potential. The world is just so beautiful. The bleak desolation of Frostfire, with that music playing in the background… Gosh. And now you can’t even RP there.
I think I feel the same way about BfA. Beautiful zones and wonderful music marred by terrible gameplay devs and a writing team that appears to consist of monkeys with keyboards.

WoD was unfortunately billed with so much promise exactly at the same time the hacksaw from Activision started to gouge out the actual “gamer” side of Blizzard. So much of the expansion was removed or changed or outright vandalised in the name of corporatism what we got was a hollow shell propped up by the benefit- of-the-doubt from players which the greedy corporate overlords have not realised as BFA spirals into the same downward descent.
