The new season of One Punch Man is likely gonna kill it forever.
What made it great was the quality of animation… Now we ended up with a studio that poorly did its job because pressure.

the first season looked very nice atop of that it was enjoyable.

Considering the 5e fluff it’s one of the most fluff-ppropriate multiclasses out there for spellcasters, just sadly overshadowed by how cheesy it can be mechanically. Pala Oaths and Warlock Patrons work really well together from an RP perspective - even the classic Holy Knight has the Celestial patron as an option.
Of course, the clear and best option is Oath of Conquest single class paladin, because forging a pact for power means being subservient in some way, and that’s just not acceptable.

I stand by my word; paladins have been destroyed post 3,5 and are no longer paladins. Oathbound or something might be a better name for a warrior formally tied to any crazy idea across the alignment spectrum.

Be happy that it “just” doesn’t update your level.
You know what else doesn’t get updated?
My race changed monk since 3 weeks. The picture is the only thing that is updated. My hunter is still a troll while he is in reality a worgen. Both names are still not even updated.
I made the mistake of picking legendary difficulty in Total War: Three Kingdoms. Yuan Shao has turned into an absolute monster with 12 factions (including me) beaten into the ground and vassalised… by turn 36.

5th managed to annoy me enough that I now do not play DnD and have moved onto Powered by the Apocalypse, OSR and weird indie RPGs.
All they had to do was let me be a shouty fighter
It makes sense in later editions of DnD where Paladin is less ‘obnoxiously good guy knight’ and more ‘very very devoted to a cause that may or may not be good’
And that’s where it fails. The paladin is specifically the good guy holy knight. The cause driven other is not a paladin and should be called something different. I could find compromise if this “Oathbound” class had Paladin be the title of the Good Guy holy knight version of the same but I will never accept something so absurd as a paladin of tyranny. There’s a name for those; a Blackguard.
I quite like it tbh it going back to the original root of ‘Paladin’ being ‘of the Palace’, also my favourite takes on Paladins in recent times has been the Pillars of Eternity ones.
Love me some Bleak Walkers, Kind Wayfarers and Goldpact Knights.
But those are different concepts under different names, thus okay in their own context. A paladin is a paladin, not this newfangled multiple choice alternative morality hogwash. Tosh, I say. Absolute tosh!

Edit: and apparently there were evil Anti-Paladins back in 2e and 1e so evil ‘Paladins’ have been around forever.
Antipaladin is a blackguard and this just means tyrannydin has been bad and wrong for long enough to be an embarrassment.
Finished my master’s thesis, and about to send it to my supervisor for final review.
However, yesterday I had a review sesh with a few study mates, and we picked apart eachother’s theses for 8 hours and then proceeded to go home and collectively ignore every correction.
My peeve is that I have no doubt that the external examiner won’t put nearly as much effort into rating the thesis as I did creating it.
Reality is often disappointing.
