It’s not a big peeve but the fancy store toy, Ethereal Transmorpher thing? Why does it need to /yell all the time when I use it. On one hand I enjoy hearing the boss quotes and all, but on the other hand, using it in a big roleplaying hub and having my name attached to the boss quote can sometimes be misconstrued as my character yelling out nonsense.
Fyi I’ve been OOC ever since I came back but still. Someone might think it for real!
I enjoyed collecting the heads for that appearance, simply because of his comments on them.

The green eyed colour variation of it is according to himself, the most closest canonical appearance.

Peeve - wish there was a face option for character customization so I could wear a eye patch as well as a helmet.

Thankfully I think the /y is just deception. In my experience it acts more like /say. I can’t see/hear the quotes unless I’m somewhat close to the transformed person.

Oh, good. Then my worries have (hopefully) been for nothing. I enjoy playing silly while I can, and I was fearing I was causing great annoyance to people with such a harmless toy.
PvP breeds toxicity and brings out the worst in people. People just cannot seem to be competitive without becoming toxic as well.

I can relate. And it is sadly too true.
Indeed, and it’s THE reason I don’t PvP outside of maybe the occasional RP-PvP campaign on WoW. Too many times I’ve seen people becomming the absolute worst kind of folks whenever they play a PvP game, or PvP on WoW. I’ll be honest too, I’ve caught myself doing such as well to an extent, and since then decided “…nah, rather not do that to others again.” .
This is why I refuse to play anything PVP related with anyone I know from WoW. Something about PVP games just makes my piss boil and I get mega salty. And I don’t want to force a friend to see that.
It’s better when I am with IRL friends and in voice comms.

I know how you feel.
It is just like, something I am avoiding or just doing in SoloQ at this point.
Then convinces me to only PvP with friends, whenever I’ll start to. That’s a bad truth…
usually it’s
“omg noobs”
“effin noobs!!!”
“OMG YOU ALL SUK”
I actually like when people get toxic, it’s funny seeing them get so irritated about nothing.

Giving players the ability to actually look like anything they want without some restrictions?
Blizzard laughs in the distance… All of that planned in the microtransaction plan dies when WoW no longer is profitable

Why do such a large number of characters speak like “right there lass, wha’ ye doin’ about here den?” did forming words normally fall out of flavour within the Alliance?

Which explains some behaviour on this realm as well since, from what I understood, there are people who consider RP a competition as well.

RP has always been a competition of attention seekers/Spotlight thieves… It’s only ever since Legion (Although cata was pretty bad as well) that I think it’s gotten worse… It’s often in people who think they’re not doing that but actions proves them wrong.
This is one of the reasons that whenever some hub/location starts swelling in numbers for an extended period I just nope out. I don’t like fighting for the attention of people… And yes someone might say “But RP is a social activity not some dance/singing contest” yeah… Socializing requires the attention of other parties. Eventually the people with the most gravitas or the ones ready to “cut” their way to get it win in here.
Edit : Strangely enough it’s thanks to this that I managed to find my own working rhythm in RP… I just turn up a specific character that can offer services, hang around the guild/groum actually occupying it and invest myself as much as I can and then once they leave I’m satisfied. Episodic RP.
