We removed unique armor and gear so we can make more armor and gear however… we didnt actually made more, but look at these amazing variation in colors!

r/totalwar just had to instate a ‘no NSFW’ rule because people were throwing around such ridiculous nude mods all over the subforum, which went so far it made one of the game developers speak out about how uncomfortable it is seeing it there.
What is it with people who can’t even play their video games without keeping it in their pants?
What am i supposed to think of this? i mean… you had people like the picts who had a reputation for having their Ds out for war.

Also, I imagine it is quite different when it is some historical barbarian going to battle in his pants only. Context matters.
People did bring up the TWH dark elves and their outfits, but, again, context. And design.

Why are there NSFW mods for Total War of all things? Even for teenagers with hormones raging like fireworks I can’t see the point of boobie mods in an RTS like Total War where you spend 99% of battles zoomed out so far all units are just vague little pixies sowing bloody carnage while you watch on like Khorne himself. Even if you zoom in it’s not like there’s any mods where instead of painting the fields red with eachother’s blood, your all female units are suddenly lessing it up. (At least, I don’t know of any such mods… can’t say I ever looked)
Like, god damn. NSFW mods for any other genre I can kinda get, but Total War RTS? That’s just… I’m more baffled than annoyed frankly. What’s the mindset here?

And that is a Peeve of mine when it comes to Total War, that a ton of arrows hits a single soldier, and at times… the soldier lives on.
In total war: Rome 2 my mate’s single line of hestati stationed in the bottleneck of a gate routed an entire Carthaginian army including elephants and other cavalry without the usage of cheats or other tomfoolery, also we saw how african spear throwers managed to throw open the gate of a germanic settlement.

Bottlenecks are deadly in Total War Games, through Total War Medieval 2, I made bottlenecks throughout the city streets to fend off against the Mongolian armies, its amazing how much damage a bunch of pikes set up by English longbow men could do to the Mongolian Cavalry.
Well cavalry are known for their good relation with enemies that use pole weapons…
Take for example the french that lost a cavalry to belgian peasants because peasants with spears > horses.
