Pet Peeve: The Undying

According to Blizzard, all that is needed to make you forget about your deep burning hatred for your enemies to the point where you very recently litterally wanted to see all of them die out and made you not help save the world, is just 10 minutes of girl talk with your mum.

She finally saw that not all of the Horde are savage brutes. I’d say this is a good development and I commend Golden on it. Her talk with Thrall was really good, them reminiscing on the past and contemplating their mistakes, wondering if peace could actually be achieved. This is the Jaina I was hoping to see.

I only hope that blizzard doesn’t screw her up again.

Aye, that’s odd. And in ALL SUDDEN becoming that again…

Is it though? Baine returning Derek to her was a good catalyst for that and now she’s worked with Thrall and saurfang to save him and saw them in a different light.

I’d say this is pretty natural.

I believe it should be more twisted. She should have Theramore, Warcrimes of Kul Tiras and Battle for Dazar’alor in mind. I think her view should be more personal about Baine, rather than working with HORDE, since Jaina became an extremist, even abandoned Alliance against Legion cause of not agreeing to work with Horde. (After Broken shore in the Throne room.)

But she wasn’t working with the Horde. She was working with Thrall and Saurfang to pay off her debt to Baine and then they had a chat. I don’t see the issue here.

She isn’t all buddies with the Horde again.

At least I can wear the full black recolour of the Ulduar mage set now. Huzzah!

I more meant her speaking with Thrall about Alliance and Horde working together.

Overall i just feels it is bit sudden and should’ve been more twisted. That’s me though!

Yes, her character has progressed to exactly where it was at the end of Warcraft 3.

I admit that it is, but sometimes moment like that can happen. It’s not impossible, especially since she knew Thrall for a while, plus he started the topic and told her his regrets.

Eh, I’ll take it. I liked WC3 Jaina and Thrall. Hope they stay this way from now on instead of being butchered again.

Kill Jaina, Thrall, Saurfang…

Those already had too much spotlight and their story arc reached its end (As in they keep rehashing the same themes, it’s like watching Scrooge Mcduck pressing an :tangerine: fruit for the juice then remove the pulp and do the same process.)

It’s really time they die, enough is enough.

Considering Blizzard are barely able to focus on developing the current character cast, I’d rather they don’t risk making new characters they’d screw up on. Better to hope that they get the current ones right and learn from at least some of their mistakes.

They need to phase new ones in. Slowly build them up. I think they were trying to do that with the troll who was with Saurfang.

That’s I agree on. They did a good job with Nazgrim and Taylor for instance. Too bad they offed both of them. Poor Taylor…He deserved a better end.

He deserved an end. One we saw. Not this “I’m a ghost, solve these issues” crud.

Atleast Nazgrim died with honour and dignity.

Aye, he went off like a true badass, while Taylor was back stabbed by a random necromancer.

Wish we could at least have his ghost appear again. I can’t believe he’d stay on Draenor when everyone left the garrison.

I wonder if Yrel and the insane people have a monument for him and those that died.

Probably. I mean, they only started their light crusade recently, didn’t they?
