Pet Peeve: The Undying

He’s literally in the company of the horde Champion when Overspark says that.

Gazlowe is also one of the -horde- island expedition group leaders. So it looks like he has officially joined the horde.

Even though this is the pet peeves thread gazlowe is provatthe best thing about this patch as it stands.

And as a pet peeve. Nazjatar is not.

Looking at the wowpedia, Gazlowe has been more or less an official horde character since WoD, activly assisting Orgrimmar and later the frostfall garrison.

Gazlowe being Horde aligned is basically an “open secret” at this point. He gives Horde preferential treatment, works pretty much exclusively with Horde, he’s even the leader of one of their azerite expeditions.

Here’s a pet peeve:

When Overspark’s crew is getting disintegrated, Blizz didn’t take the chance to have one of them say

“Mister Spark… I don’t feel so good”

Tinkmaster Overspark is legitimately a terrible person btw.

U got mail (on horde side)

Peeve: Birb, spawn and give mount. Thanks. But plz spawn.

I love his assistant though. Cutest gnome.

That’s terrible but ok.

“I picked these tinkers myself!”
Two of them get killed
“Lol whatever man”

Are all gnomes like this?

Wasn’t all that into the idea of the junker gnome allied race, but now I am. Hit me up with those Gnomes blizzard, I’m ready. Or at the very least give standard Gnomes some of those sweet new hairstyles.

Poorly thought out/poorly written joke characters? Yes.

If only they werent so ugly. The augmentations are really offputting.

Honestly… Mechagon and everything surrounded it is like a very old game called “Glitch in the system”. Anyone played that? If so, take a look at it and you will see some resemblances like the junkyard.

Just need a robot that swears in every single sentence.

Human paladin rpers got you covered.

忿怒 - I’m having trouble installing TOR.

Didn’t we just cover the fact that this will likely kill him?

Actually I know it will kill him since my Cat is outside and he’s blood thirsty.

I mean, is it? If anything it’s a case of writing matching the (intended) theme of the expac - that staying neutral in the conflict is hard and you’ll have to pick a side.

The escalating conflict pushed him away from neutrality and closer to the Horde.

Now you could say that even with this that Gallywix isn’t Gazlowe’s trade prince 'cos they’re from different cartels but I’m just gonna put that down to gnomish racism.

I do like the distinction between the way Gazlowe runs his crew and how Gallywix runs his. Very different styles, showing that Goblin’s aren’t always as careless as they are made out to be.

Some additional politics could also be factored in. Say what you want about post-cataclysm Garrosh, but he was actually very popular among goblins and considered them useful and gave them excellent treatment alongside loyal orcs.

And Gazlowe became slowly more involved around those times and forward, even after Garrosh was replaced. Most likley thanks to his politics elevating their place within the horde.

I found it a bit cringeworthy just how much they were pushing GAZLOWE=GOOD GOBLIN

DO YOU GET HOW NICE HE IS

LOOK HERE’S A PICTURE OF HIM PETTING A DOG WHILE GALLYWIX IS NOT PETTING A DOG

like they can be nice/nasty but the way they were portraying gazlowe made him seem not particularly “goblin” at all…basically a gnome in greenface :rage:
