Pet Peeve: The Undying

Only Blizzard can write a story arc about a character who believes in peace, a bit naive, and then absolutley -crush- everything she loves, breaking her down into a ruthless, quite insane character who no longer believes in her old ideals, then begin to calm down and realise that her father was actually right in his concerns. And her next arc being that she has to face the consquences of her past actions she did in her naive time.

Only to have all of that turn 180 after she is sent to prison, then to spooky island, then hugs her mum. Suddenly both her, and her -entire- nation and people understand that she was right all along, and we should love everything and everyone.

She’s one of the “big” VAs that you see constantly, which I’m generally fine with. I’ve not got the best ear for voices so even when it’s obvious sometimes I’ll miss it. She was Mary-Jane in the latest spiderman game and I didn’t notice at all. Found out only after seeing her name in the credits.

In modern day games, most female characters are voiced by Bailey or Jennifer Hale.

Then a couple of others thrown in at random intervalls.

I quite enjoyed the new VA for Claire in the recent Resi2 remake, though apparently all the VAs they got for it are non-union which is a bit…hmm.
