Sadism, a underappreciated virtue
Vegetarians or vegans that eat Avocado or other such stuff without considering how it gets to them.
Delivery by ship causes a metric ton of pollution.
you want to go down the entire list of hypocrisy?
Interesting leap between âI choose not to eat meatâ and âI refuse to eat anything that requires pollution to reach my storeâ there
You are aware that some are vegans for that reason?
There are. Vilesun did not specify that sub-group - and neither did you until I called it out. : )
âI donât like to cause suffering to animals!â
Well the chemicals sprayed to protect your plants, the loss of habitat, pollution and so on do just that. Thereâs no escaping it. Unless you grow yourself.
Vegetarians and vegans in general, that little lifestyle wonât change anything, if you want to help against animal cruelty, come try and establish better laws and inspections on how you should treat animals at farms and slaughterhouses.
If itâs for your own health, a bit of meat really isnât bad, you know, avoid eating a lot of red meat, sure, but fish for example, if actually fresh from the sea, and not fed some human-made food, is just fine.
Vegans I canât understand at all. âI wonât drink milk becauseâŚâ why?
Wait till you get to the soy discussion.
âyes, but most of the soy goes to the animalsâ
Then⌠vouch for producing their food here/invest in technology making it possible to grow it here, if youâd really care instead of shoving the blame and taking your part in the destruction of rainforests and the habitats of the animals you claim to care for.
Because milk is for calves!
Vegans spend a lot of time anthropomorphising animals and their thought train.
Because youâre a savage and iâm better than you, and I need to tell you Iâm better than you, I need every occasion and action to show that Iâm better than you meat eating savages.
Like, Dude, Shut up and bring me my blue steak.

Yâall just spent the last 20 minutes back-patting each other about how youâre all better people than vegans because of the perceived notion of fictional vegans who think theyâre better than you.
Put a movie on the wall because thatâs some impressive projection lmao
iâm just a retard on a forum, better then whom?
#MeatMeOutsideToSettleThis
No, we know weâre terrible people.
You spent the last 5 minutes writing that comment.
Also weâre not saying weâre better, weâre suggesting more effective ways to contribute than some meaningless diet that wonât change anything given not only the small amount of people going with that, but also the downsides of their own lifestyle.
When you see people typing for minutes upon minutes on a peeve thread.
I donât see a problem with people who want to try and eat sustainably. I mean, if populations keep growing at the rates weâre seeing, weâre all going to need to change our eating habits at some point.
While veganism probably isnât the perfect path forward, itâs still an effort and it might help these people adapt to whatever the most sustainable way of eating is in the future. Itâll be easier for them to transition to mealworms and algae than it will be for the steak-lovers.
You spend an enormous amount of time screeching about a game you no longer play and seem to loathe every aspect of it. Iâm not sure if you get to talk to others about how they use their time.
Pretty true unironically - a vast majority of humans canât actually digest dairy. Itâs pretty much only in Europe where itâs common.
That, and the dairy industry (along with most industries with animals) is pretty rife with animal cruelty, has huge problems with sustainability, pollution, infection, and low quality of life for the animals involved.
Thereâs a pretty big reason that plant-based alternatives are an increasingly large market (and actually taste pretty good honestly)
