Peeve: raider io
So, with the new season I apparently had my score reset and am now back to zero. So, getting into any group is impossible unless you have friends that do M+. Despite previous experience, my item level, and me being a fury warrior - I will foresee another epic MMO experience by not being able to join 99% of M+. Meanwhile some pleb that bought some carries has a 1.1k score.
This whole addon makes the game worse in general and goes against what an MMO should be tbh. M+ is a giant cesspit of toxicity, boosts, and all it does is exclude players, and brings in more of the E-sports trash.

Aye, I use it myself, but I only gave in because I was sick of not getting invites due to me not having a score… I’m very much against it.
Wow is a really, really bad game for PvP.
Change my mind.

I unironically had more fun doing PvP in SWtOR than I’ve ever had in WoW
Yeh, you kind of -have- to use it, which is a problem in and of itself. Blizzard has made the game so obnoxious with so much stuff and difficulties people literally have to resort to using addons/third-party software in order to even be part of the ‘‘community’’.
Like, I can live with DBM and addons that change bits of your UI, but I hate cancerous E-sport enabling trash like this.
FFXIV queue times. I just got home from work but I guess so did everyone else. 2k queues.

Seemingly an unpopular opinion these days but I literally don’t mind OOCers on RP realms, provided they respect the realm rules and don’t harass or disrupt RP.
Plenty of non-RPers I’ve met over the years have actively apologised via whispers if they run through an event, or quietly watched from afar, or even asked if they could join in (And unless it’s a super specific thing of some kind I’m usually happy to oblige). I always felt that going “OOCERS GET OUT REEEE” just makes us look bad, and also denies the chance that these people might actually decide to RP after being exposed to it and figuring they might actually enjoy it.
Sure a large number of non-RPers are 
but frankly just report/ignore and move on my dudes. The realm has and always will have a large portion who don’t roleplay, no use trying to deport them or something. Better of showing the good side of roleplaying rather than act like extremely overprotective dweebs.

I hate M+ anyway, mandatory speedrunning dungeons with annoying effects on trash? No ty. It was only made worse in BfA where dungeons were designed around M+. Why do you think there’s entire armies of trash mobs between bosses? In M+ The trash is harder than actual bosses. It’s completely ruined dungeons for me. I don’t mind M+ existing but it being both a near mandatory thing for gear progression and influencing the design of dungeons pisses me off.
WoW PvP used to be really enjoyable for me. Around MoP was peak imo. But since then healers became immortal because they cried whenever it took less than five DPS or a massive increasing healing debuff to actually kill them, despite claims about reducing CC twice (MoP and Legion) there seems to be more CC than ever (And staring at your characeter drooling as they die is literallly anti-fun, Wildstar made CC interactive rather than just ripping control away).
Class damage is also through the damn roof making the immortal healers mandatory to be present, if you’re not being healed you drop like a brick of lead through thin air. The nanosecond a healer is CCd or dead you go from 100-0 with rarely any chance to react. The only class that can survive is paladin because of bubble.
It doesn’t help that every single class has been gutted in terms of utility and buttons, which had no or niche use in PvE but were used plentifully in PvP. I miss having Turn Evil to use on warlock minions, that was 
among other things. Remember Warrior Shattering Throw? I remember, that was fun to use and was a good counter to a very strong series of abilities.
So now every single arena fight boils down to ‘Poke each other a bit, get the other team to exhaust cooldowns and anti-CC measures first, then CC-lock the healer and nuke somebody’. I got my gladiator stuff in BfA S1 and it was incredibly dull and tedious the whole time.
Once upon a time WoW PvP was actually enjoyable, not perfect (Every Man for Himself comes to mind, entire arena ladders of female humans…) but enjoyable. Now it’s just Zzzzz or infuriating depending on what you’re fighting.

It’s gear score to some extent, yes. Though I feel this is even more obnoxious. Trash in BfA is annoying, true, but I still like the challenge to some level. But you’re right, the average trash mob in BfA has more mechanics than raid bosses from Classic and TBC.
It’s not the challenge that’s the problem for me. I just dislike the mandatory speedrunning (Coming from the guy who actually prefers to do dungeons quickly, but I guess it’s a mentality thing), and I dislike how all the affixes make the boring part of the dungeons (Trash) even more obnoxious and tedious to slowly saw through until you get to the bosses.
I don’t feel particularly challenged fighting trash even if they explode or vomit or fire eye lasers. It’s still trash that I have to slog through. It feels weird that they’re making the trash pulls harder than bosses, and want to push people into doing the ESPURHTS mode by making it feel mandatory to do if I want to gear up.
And what I hear about raider io just puts me off even trying it again altogether. It sounds like gear score except you start at 0 and can’t get it higher without doing runs which nobody will do with you. I might just refuse to get the addon out of spite if I ever come back.
But that’s just my 2c.

You also have to grind a bunch of low level dungeons in m+ just to get your score up. Zzzz.

I’ve been here for almost 7 years now, and I’ve yet to disrupt any RP (that I’m aware of, and if I did, it wasn’t intentional). Wouldn’t dream of it. I’m more likely to hid around somewhere to watch the RP rather than disturb.
There was an RP event in Durnholde once (during MoP) where The Rotgarde, I think, was fighting in a RP-PvP event with the Arathi Honour Guard (I think it was these bois). And I asked in General chat if it was alright for me if I sat and watched? Was asked not to, just in case it’d be an argument or w/e, and I happily obliged.
