I think that’s a key point. Sparingly. If people spout the same words constantly, it’s dull, and just empty. Swearing can work but it must be uncommon and used at the proper moment. You aren’t Kanye.

Oh I know, the most extreme I’ve gone in the past year or two is using the insult ‘degenerate’ as a Zandalari towards elves.

Annie Wilkes hated swearing.
It doesn’t fit World of Warcraft since we very rarely see it occur and it’s also against the terms of service if we want to get technical. I do hope the suggestion is that swearing should never, ever happen in any form of media though…because it can and does add flavour to characters when handled well.
Almost never happens. It’s used like salt on KFC chips. Over abundant, and ruining the flavour.

I wasn’t referring to role-players, but swearing in general - as I stated in my previous post, WoW isn’t really designed with swearing in mind. Some other settings, however, are.

I’m generally against it, since I prefer characters to make use of more flavourful curses unique to the setting rather than anything that might result in a ban if reported.
If used sparingly, I’m not completely opposed but in my experience most characters that are portrayed as swearing in the ‘real world’ manner don’t use such words sparingly.

Based on the PEGI rating for WoW, they’re allowed one (1) use of the F bomb.
I would have bought you just keep f$@#ing failing for their one use
I usually use the term ‘‘devolved troll’’ towards elves.
That’s good because it insults both the trolls amd the elves.
