An art related peeve.

When people commission art of their characters being epic conquerors standing over the corpses of their enemies but you know for a fact from experience that person is both a terrible PvPer and even in RP PvP they’re a flaming dumpster fire and their character is chronically incompetent.

Same goes for when they write weird gore p*rn about their Tyrande-level exploits and conquests, yet again you know for a fact that their character is woefully incompetent to achieve even a fraction of that.

sigh feeling a bit depressed over not being able to go to work tomorrow…

Currently had a cold since Saturday, and I went to work today and I had to leave after the morning round due to feeling like , so I wont go tomorrow.

I don’t want to be sick, I want to help out tomorrow when we were gonna throw a lot of heavy furniture and stuff, especially since I know it’ll only be 2 guys there.

Peeve: the Legion achievement “The Wish Remover”.

For me, it exemplifies nu-Blizzard’s lack of care for basic logic. The motivation between it seems to have been “Well, Wrath Dalaran had an achievement for fishing coins out of the fountain, so let’s add one here too”.

But the coins found in Wrath were tossed there by lore figures who could have conceivably been to Dalaran, and many of them are known to have been there at least once. Some of these coins are silly (would Archimonde really throw a coin in the strangely intact fountain after destroying Dalaran?), but they didn’t break my immersion too much.

In contrast, most of the coins in the Legion achievement are credited to characters featured in the expansion, and for many of them, it’s really hard to picture them ever being in Dalaran. Some couldn’t have possibly been there. (Daglop? Elisande? Skovald? Azshara?) The thought process seems to have been “eh, let’s take this list and write something characteristic of them, who cares if it makes sense?”

It’s just a minor thing, but it showcases creative laziness to me.
