Akamito:

I’d like to give a massive shout out this morning to my daughter.

In record time this morning she managed to pull down a big container of strawberries from the kitchen counter, half eat them all and them mush the remains into the carpet.

Following this, she went into the recycling bin, removed various items but specifically chose an empty beer bottle from the preceding evening, found me in the living room and hit me in the eye with it. Whether assaulting me was her intention or not will be determined be a jury of her peers at a later date.

While I was attempting to clean up the mess that she had created, she then snuck into the bathroom and played with the toilet brush for a few minutes unnoticed.

Incredible performance and well worthy of her immediate (after being washed) confinement to her crib where she then, satisfied with the mornings events, immediately fell asleep for her nap.

Parenthood is a wild ride.

It’s starting to annoy me how good Persona 5 is. No game has the right to be this enjoyable and engaging.

It’s also somehow a JRPG with an easy to follow plot which is an added bonus.

One of my minor issues with it is how often they repeat things that were said in another conversation barely a moment ago.

“Oh guys I’m super worried about X.” And then you leave, head home and immediately get a text where one or more people tell you how worried they are about X. We get it! You’re all repeating things you said just now! I’m not an imbecile! Not yet at least. Overall though I like the game so much I picked up a meaty artbook of it during my vacation in Japan.

Yeah that’s true. There’s a lot of little things like they but they definitely don’t detract from the whole which is very well put together.

Just got to decide who my waifu will be…

I grew fond of Ann the more I interacted with her. For a while she does suffer as a shallow character but I think that’s on purpose because the more you do hang out with her the more she’s revealed to be one of the better written characters of the game.

Cat not eating food, cat is sick, cat gets no sympathy from me.

Okay, no, he’s not not eating his food, he’s licking the jelly off of it and then not eating the meat. Except that is a) wasteful and b) expensive so I have just left his food that he can eat.
