More on topic however it’s a real shame that there’s this huge disconnect between the public faces, the PR, and the at best grouchy, at worst malevolent customer service when it comes to interplayer issues.

I was curious about what actually happened in the entirety, I don’t keep up or bother with the discords. I’ve only ever seen GM’s threaten to start banning people like that, during the really early days, back when they were quite poorly trained. Typically you could esclate it and speak to a senior GM.
Back in the day there used to be a very close eye on what their team were saying, or doing, there’s plenty of stories of incompetent GM’s being overruled. A friend of mine used to be a ticket stamper during the Wrath era so it’s a little shocking to see them speaking like that to a player.

this blizzard policy seems to have changed nowadays sadly and instead they just want to blast through their pile of tickets as quickly as possible.
but the TL;DR is: extremely questionable (illegal) behaviour from a certain player being reported and the mod isn’t happy about getting told to do their job.

I will say that personally I have only received prime customer service and was never brushed off crazily, I have also noticed that [certain] people (including me) receive better customer service than others – make of that as you will

The worst change in the GM policy is that some of them don’t even tell wow themed jokes anymore. That’s just Diabolical all in itself.
