Pet peeves: The return (Part 1)

It’s not the first time in BfA. The entire nation of Kul Tiras hated Jaina. Their de facto national anthem was about how much she sucked.

But Katherine goes “asckhually, Jaina okay now” and suddenly everyone’s like oh yeah cool line up behind Lord Admiral Blondie-Bear let’s go.

It’s not like she earned their forgiveness or respect or anything. unironically Taelia would have made a better Lord Admiral.
Knows the people, actually lived in Kul Tiras for most of her life
Worked to fix their problems in the questing experience in at least two zones maybe three I don’t remember.
Helped uncover the conspiracy of Ashvane.
Not a war criminal
Not Public Enemy #1.

Which cities will get nuked next? My bet is on Silvermoon and the Exodar so they don’t have to bother making new versions of those

They should have stretched her redemption not in one expansion but rather a period of expansions, I’d be 100% okay with that.

But instead, we got the “Quick microwave it as fast as you can and shove it into the Players face!”

Exodar, I really think Exodar will be the next target.

Exodar and Silvermoon are forever safe, locked behind the TBC world loading screen.

The most impenetrable defense known to man.

also it would be nice if her redemption actually required any actual actions on her part instead of just getting a hug from her mum

Exodar and Silvermoon. That way they never have to update TBC zones and incorporate them into the open world.

“No we can’t hire more artists” said Bobby “The Devil” Kotick, receiving a bonus of 80 million Dollars in the previous year.

I always like to put this stuff into perspective:

Bobby Kotick made 30 million Dollars in 2020.

Let’s say an average artist employee at Blizzard gets around 100k yearly (lol I wish).

1% of 30 million is 300,000. Which is enough to pay 3 artists if they get paid 100,000 yearly.

It’s insane and I can’t wait for all of this to collapse.

And she is around all year long.

If there is I will whole heartly ignore it and write it off as non canon. Just like I pretend BfA is non-canon too.

What if for the sake of argument, it actually was really good?

They happily forgot the Horde pillaging Quel’Thalas.

I too like to roleplay but not in this case. :pensive:

That is a rather excellent point.

Just want a good faction war and not something half baked.

Wacraft 2 Caverns of Time expansion. There’s no way they can possibly screw it u-

NO DOOMHAMMER, NO, PUT JAINA DOWN. SHE IS NOT FOR SLASHFICTION NONSENSE.

Anduin Wrynn travels back to WC2 to establish peace between the alliance and horde :handshake:

Cease at once. I’m calling the police.

He’s immediately sacrificed by the Shadow Council to their demon masters, failing to understand the full extent of the depravity of the blood drunk invaders.

Or such is their intention… but then one of them touches Anduin’s bicep, and sees the light…

Thus we get good gul’dan seeing the error of his ways. Crisis averted and we get horde and alliance fighting the Bad Orcs and demons early on, the Good Orcs Who Never Really Wanted to Genocide get land in the north as a reward for their service.

Camps averted and the future is frustratingly noblebright until…

TY-RAN-DUH arrives, still evil after refusing to forgive Sylvanas, the new, Good Jailer

No, this version of Gul’dan becomes Light’dan, and serves as our segue into an evil Light expansion
