Two years ago this May I screwed up my elbow and trapped a nerve that’s affected how my hand works. I can’t grab properly etc and it looks skeletal.

FINALLY got a pre-op date!

Booked Mini in for his neutering.

Its next Tuesday, wish my poor lad luck!

The amount of bugs in this expansion…

Battle for Azeroth : House with no solid pillars.

Betalands : House will pillars and walls… But termites and other vermins are destroying it from the inside out.

Took a look at Reddit because I was curious about how the raidlets are feeling about SL. Saw someone claiming Shadowlands is an “amazing expansion” solely because… the gearing system is better than recent expansions and AP isn’t a thing anymore.

Yeah… Raids of Warcraft indeed.

I guess the fact that people like that (probably) make up the majority of the player base explains why WoW is the way it is these days. I was pretty young then so I may be misremembering but, back in the day (vanilla/TBC) raids and such weren’t necessarily the end-all of WoW, were they? I mean, I’m pretty sure the game was first and foremost meant for people who wanted to experience & adventure in an immersive fantasy world, not to rush to max level ASAP so that you can gear and start “simming” ASAP so that you can clear raids ASAP.

man I really need to find a different mmo … though im not sure anything can scratch the itch wow once did

Whatever that guy is smoking I would like some of, gearing hasn’t been this bad in ages.

Nathria and the dungeons are solid, but the gearing is abhorrent.

Temperature is jumping between +2 and -2 for the entirety of the week, hence i cant change my winter tires, leading to them being rendered useless on a perfectly dry road.

But should i get busted without them due to “-” temperature - boo hoo a fine

I guess he’s been smoking the B ong of Bogus. ( Apparently B ong as a word is censored and I have no idea why)

a group of people broke into my workplace last night and stole a whole bunch of equipment that is vital for our operation and was due to be used this week as we start to ramp back up before we can fully reopen

it’s not great. no evidence for the police to work with either so no real chance of the culprits being caught

To this day Blizzard still fails to understand that the larger pools of players are very casual ones. The kind that would enjoy doing Warfront or Island Expeditions (Had those two been good I mean.), Withered Army and so on. You don’t get gear necessarily but you feed into this collection aspect of the game.

This is sad. Being satisfied for so little… When this was the case like barely two expansions ago where it wasn’t ever needed and people did just fine.

Imagine creating worlds and regions but putting the legwork for the Mythic raiders.

WoW is the ideal MMORPG to maximize profits with minimal amount of work. Kottick and his shareholders have proven that.

Pet peeve is indecision.

I’m playing through Grim Dawn right now and I keep replaying the first hour or so because I can’t decide on a main class then a subclass. It’s quite annoying

So I think I understand the meme of office workers doing F all

Literally just waiting for emails about account statements =)

I really dislike modern raiding because of all the bells and whistles attached.

Sure, there’s no AP to grind anymore, but gone are the days before Legion when raiding was self-sufficient. If you want to seriously raid nowadays you have to play a ton of M+ to not fall behind on gear, not to mention PvP, both of which I loathe.

I’ve begun feeling this as well. I doubt that I’ll depart WoW entirely so long as there’s RP to be had here… but I do wonder what the RP might be like in another game. ESO perhaps.

I have tried other MMOs but despite me not liking this expansion the boots are big for others to fill.

Even if the gameplay falls short, I still love the setting (again, minus this expansion).

Gamma has let me know very vocally that she was displeased while brushing her.
However her body language is giving away her little display as… just that lmao.

They have always had this overemphasis on catering to the 10% and less who do the hardcore content because in their view these are the players who pay more into the game, and out as well. I recall there was a poll done recently where it was revealed almost half of players don’t even touch LFR difficulty raids these days.

It’s quite eye opening.

Meanwhile here’s me working towards my dreadsteed on classic, a very long process, though thankfully I had the gold to buy all the components i couldn’t source myself.

Just need a group for Scholomance then Dire Maul West. Is this hardcore content? Perhaps compared to retail but there seems to be some charm that classic has over retail that Blizzard is trying (and sadly failing) to capture for their main game.

I think this is part of the reason why raiding has fallen off the wagon for so many players on all levels, there’s either no point to it due the rewards being trivial or the investment needed is too great.

They announced the (US) release date for the new Resident Evil movie.
I want to be excited as it supposedly is more true to the games, but knowing how the Anderson films went I hold low expectations.

:frowning: I thought it was going to be another over the top ridiculous action animated one but it sounds like it’s going to be survival horror? pfffffffffff

Survival horror good… Hollywood just very bad at doing it :<
