I can confirm this for me, too.
My card just has the three numbers, though. It’s in-line with the part where you’re supposed to put a signature.
I only have a Debit Card, and I’m a big user of PayPal.

I only have a Debit Card, and I’m a big user of PayPal.
I also use a debit card to pay for this (when I’m subbed)
Mine doesn’t.
I use PayPal too for it all. So I have no idea about it all.
And that’s fine tbh. It’s a game for FF fans. Just like how WoW should be a game for Warcraft fans.
Only… one game has a lead director who’ll happily drink red wine, bake cookies and wipe on hard mode raids on stream. And the other has a lead director who doesn’t even engage in something as simple as transmog.
I’d much rather have a game director who plays and loves the game as much as me than someone who’s sole defining moment, and which got his foot in the door, was a timed boss run on a raid from a decade ago.
Oh and being head honcho for two absolutely garbage expansions : ')
Just to note; Yoshi-P pays his own sub for FF14.
Just started on the Shadowbringers expansion. It’s quite cool so far. For me personally, between FF14 and retail WoW, the MMO genre is in a good place (even if it lacks variety beyond the two of those). I’m entertained and enjoy both, especially since the experiences they provide are pretty different.
I’m just getting into Stormblood myself.
Today’s peeve: “Energetic characters” that keep telling you OOC how they know their character is annoying, yet if they aren’t received in a positive light by other characters they immediately become upset and turn passive-aggressive until they have a breakdown.
Why aren’t you in our Linkshell?
After stocking up renown on my alts without really doing the campaign quest I can say this.
They’re pretty boring if you do them in one sitting… It’s a whole lot of unecessary travels put there to extend your time doing them, nothing a portal can’t transport you immediatly. I’m not talking about RP flights, to some extent they’re fine.
Cuz Loras is on Balmung.
I went where my friends were. Which was Balmung ye

the return of the queen…
I feel like this is somewhat harsh.
He was GM of Elitist Jerks, who was during it’s prime, a very well-respected guild and who’s forums was the go-to place for theorycrafting and class guides/discussion up until Cataclysm. He was also the guy who proved how pre-nerf C’Thun was mathematically unkillable, back in the day.
I think it’s a shame that his work in Encounter Design is overshadowed by things such as the sheer existence of BFA, but some things are just truly unforgivable.
It’s one of the bigger Shadowlands disappointments. I thought the Necrolord campaign was fine but forgettable doing it week on week during release, but having to do them back-to-back on a character now is just painful. They really pale in comparison to some of the Legion Campaigns.
It was deliberately harsh. I don’t think highly of WoW’s current director, who is almost entirely out of touch with the playerbase he is apparently catering towards. I will however admit he has done some good, and his work in Encounter Design is solid.
But the man is not a lead director. He can’t even talk to prominent WoW personalities who constantly put out content begging for something, for anything, to change. No letting down of one’s hair, as it were, and talking to us like people. No off the cuff livestreams with the guild he leads or even using the transmog feature in the game.
I vomit at you aggressively.
I’m not on FF14 to RP so it’s all the same to me, just added big tiddy bunnygirls wandering around Ul’dah innit
It’s not where we are, and thus your choice is wrong.
The RP on Balmung is… it’s a thing.
I’m pretty sure this was disproven and shown to be wrong thanks to Classic and years of people actually doing research into the boss as it was. So Ion doesn’t even have -that- going for him.
