I’m barely just getting the hang of normal chess, my room temp IQ lacks the capacity to learn a new form of it
Meow friends
Not that type of cat friend.
Speaking of the cat, the myth, the legend;
He’s taken to sleeping on the TV shelf because its so hot.
Work related Peeve : Why in the world did they think that having a snack service offering meals as in, Lasagna, Salads, Semi-Hand made Pizzas and so on was a good idea?
To make money, I know but why would you put the employees under so much extra work when the Kitchen isn’t even a real Kitchen to begin with. You might get away with it in a very small hotel with plenty of restaurants around but there’s like two here and we host over over 80 peoples in some evenings because summer holidays.
Makes me loathe afternoon/evening shifts but morning ones are just bad because I can’t get my brain to understand that sleep early = Less grumpy.
Kind of miffed that ffxiv cat guys (hrothgar?) have human ankles/feet instead of animal ones, like worgen in wow.
Rimworld keeps generating militant-female dominant christianity who raid me and weird rancher furries who try to sell me heavy weapons and polar bears in their animal-themed space marine armour.
Did procedural generation go too far?
that’d require a LOT of remodelling of shoes.
And with the lack of hats, it’d over egg the pudding.
i mean, if even wow can do it…
besides, guild wars 2 is only 2 years younger (or 1 year older if you go from after they ashed ff14 and started over) and that one does it just fine
on 1 hand i’m eager to complain about the hat issue on the other i’m a main character gamer and will at all times avoid wearing pieces that cover the head if i can
WoW does it by stretching the textures.
Talking about FF14 naming: Random enemies simply being German. If you don’t have any ideas on what to call your next set of insect enemies simply googling what ‘wasp’ is in German and using that for your English client is… bad.
Especially if there is no rhyme or reason as to which enemies get that treatment.
The Japanese have a noticeable fascination with German language. You often come across random German words or names seemingly for no reason in anime/games, even if there is nothing in the setting to suggest Germany, not even as an inspiration.
At least they’re very consistant when it comes to picking what kind of words they like to use. The ones that are hard to pronounce when your native language is Japanese.
There is plenty that are damn easy. But they keep going for the consonant clusters…
I once again have to wonder what compelled the author of Death Note to name one of the main characters Light and the other just “L”.
You think it’s procedural but it’s actually using Google technology and using your search and shopping preferences.
epic trolling
I don’t mind not being able to use them for the most part. But if I’ve just changed from another race, it can throw my glam off.
A friend told me that the world map (or well, continent map) is accessible by pressing the button in the top left corner of the map window. Which is… not at all intuitive.
