Pet peeves: The return (Part 1)

An actual house? Pretty hard. They get snapped up pretty fast.
An apartment? Not that hard at all.

Depends on your luck and dedication. I managed to snag mine after a few days of searching and collective time spent camping the house for only about 40 minutes. I’ve seen people campaign for well over an entire day.

Also depends on where the house is. Mist seems more popular than the Goblet, for instance. That’s talking about small houses. I don’t think I’ve ever seen medium or large one for sale.

They are making it easier next expansion to buy a house, it’s going to be first come first served and there may be “lottery” wards where you put money down, and then get picked randomly.

Hoping they’re going to give us another ward on all the current plots.

Would love a house in Shirogane on O-yin.

Also hoping they make a housing project in Thavnair so Schade can go home.

FF14… I wanna give it a shot only after my two months purge of Wow from my system (Body, not PC).

When my sub runs, the MMO life will be forgone for a while.

i want to grab my own home sometime in shirogane. everyones mad for ishgard but good luck getting one when it goes live

Just going to settle for an apartment each on my 2 elves.

Was hoping for an ishgard house back when I started, but now when I came back Goblet kind of grew on me, even though initially I liked it the least (had settled in the Mist before quitting last time). Shirogane is pretty though, but leaning a bit too heavy on the feudal Japan vibe for me to choose it as a permanent residence.

honestly not too keen on the player housing districts in ff14 because even if you get a house you’ll have to share it with 20 meme houses or asian architecture on a limsa lominsan shore

imagine if they added a player housing district to orgrimmar and it’s like 80% sin’dorei architecture and mage sanctums

it looks badddddddddddd

squeenix should put some restrictions on it really easily

This makes me wonder if the things they write about the Reforged team also hold for the current WoW team, and that’s why they’re struggling to deliver even a minimum viable product even with months of delay.

The way SWTOR handled houses/bases was, imo, pretty good. Also, guild starships were cool.

The way the majority of the decorations were locked behind the cash shop gamble packs and thus has AWFUL supply issues, eeeeeh… not so much a fan.

in terms of housing swtor is no wildstar, but it does the job well enough

shame about virtually every other aspect of the game, though.

Everytime someone mentions WildStar my heart breaks for what could have could have been.

I miss it every single day.

Yep, that’s true. Not fond of the obnoxious lightshow houses myself, but thankfully I was lucky enough to have only one house directly to my left, which was a basic Goblet house and one neighbor behind me at a pretty big elevation and with tolerable architecture.

i like eso’s housing system. its definetly no wildstar but a hella lot better than xiv’s

Just wish ESO had more slots for its bigger houses especially honestly, housing was by far the part of the game I enjoyed the most and what kept me playing for the longest time

Somehow survived the gauntrlet to the 1st boss in Prae.

Kept myself alive long enough to get the teleport (playing PLD)

SUCH PRESERVATION

same, both in decoration limit and character capacity. i prefer open world rp anyway but bloody heck the things some people can do with their homes

Honestly not a day goes by where i’m not tempted to give a wildstar private server a go just for the housing, that game was hella good at it

Not good at much else tho sadly
