I dunno if Gundam was in production before Ender’s Game came out but there might’ve been inspiration. If there is there’s no talk of it online though. Could be coincidence.
I don’t understand why more RPGs couldn’t adopt NWN2’s hybrid approach of reserving voice acting only for more important conversations, and using unvoiced dialogue trees for things like minor side quests.

I’d argue that it’s because of the sheer overwhelming amount of NPCs out there.
The Telvanni councillors are each unique. Therena and Dratha specifically; don’t think you could pull it in a modern RPG that a major character/questgiver REFUSES interaction with male characters.
Then there’s Crassius Curio, of course. Legend.
Cosades, Fargoth, Fast Eddie…
That’s the highlight here. Mods that take the step to say “F it” and use silent voice files have a much greater wriggle room. I also recall some creative solutions to dialogue in a Fo3 mod where NPCs were talking over each other in the voice files - pah. But I ramble.
I hope more games will take the courage to strafe from full VA in exchange for ten or twenty times the dialogue lines.

I had a really decent m+ push today (timed Necrotic Wake and Theater +15!) and would’ve probably done more than that, but suddenly two of my party members started experiencing insane lag and we weren’t able to continue. My mists +16 key got downgraded because of that lag.

Frozen was a good movie, too bad they never made a sequel.
Actually on second thought it’s a good thing they never made a sequel. Knowing the trend for Disney sequels, the plot would probably have been an incoherent mess with a shoehorned moral, or something.
