Pet peeves: The return (Part 1)

You missed the phase when Telaryn had always been just the female version of what we’re used to? (bas fem elf with blonde hair and pale skin)

Don’t even try it. He was always one of the copy-pasted belf posters, but then something happened.

All the belf posters still look the same tbh.

He’s always been unique because he’s the only one that wears the 60 pvp blood knight set.

Yes.

I dont look below their neck, but I dont disagree. Ironically it’s been a bit easier to tell them apart once most of them started wearing helmets.

I do, its how I tell Elenwen, Vervaina and Coldshade apart.

Also how I tell myself apart from the other female undead hunter imposter that occasionally posts on the hunter forums (wears the same set but has a bright blue cloak)

i smile as the only not-heretical male nelfposter

Except… you’re not?

Moridunum still posts occasionally.

he’s a higborne so he’s definitely heretical

Them I have no trouble telling apart though, because they all play different classes, while belf posters are all paladins.

No, no, Elenwen always wears the velf mog, Vervaina usually wears one of the warlock robes with a high collar and Coldshade is the other one.

Elenthas stands out among the belf posters because his character looks like its never been outside(really pale).

:sunglasses:

Eluvanas thanks you for your considered support.

Why you gotta do her dirty like that :pensive:

And yes yes, Elenathas stands out, but I don’t even classify him as a belf poster. He’s a dk poster first and foremost.

because they’re the only one that changes their mog often also both Coldshade and Vervaina wear crowns.

So its not like I can go; “ah, crown, thats Coldshade” i instead have to go; “ah, warlock robe, that’s Vervaina”

I just sit happy and content in being human female poster, strangely rare as a hunter compared to all the other hunter posters

I’m pretty much onto the Stormblood patch story now but.

My thoughts:

I think this was definitely weaker than Heavensward, for all the people who have drummed on Final Fantasy being a superior narrative it… has its moments. It’s pretty prolific with deus ex machina and Stormblood wasn’t different. Not to mention it definitely had a thing with sexual violence; it’s an incredibly cheap way to build up hate towards certain NPCs (hello mr. xaela axe man) and to create some tragic backstory (hello miss. evil doma lady).

I’m kinda hoping Shadowbringers picks it back up because Stormblood was a bit of a slog.

Stormblood is a bit of a slog in general.

The female human posters are easily identifiable. The one with the mask, the one in armor and the one with cleavage.
