I’ve finally realized why YouTube has been sending me notifications about channels I’ve never subscribed to. It’s because The Kid browsed them from my tablet. Maybe she hit the subscribe button by accident, I don’t know.

At least now I know. I thought they just started to issue notifications algorithmically whether the user subscribed to that stuff or not.

Most of these forum updates feel like whoever is responsible set the whole thing to auto update

And whoever pushes the auto updates has slept through every design class possible

“Oh we wanted to make the forums mobile friendly”
spud, at this point just roll back to the old-old forums. You know. The lightweight ones that were like 99% text.
