So since I havenât actually finished kcd1, i decided to pick it up again after about a year of not touching it before getting the sequel. Being tasked with investigating a raid on a village, I of course arrive, burst into the first house i see, pick up a (as i would quickly find out) recently deceased man off the bed with his widow still weeping, drag him outside, drop him in the mud and get into a brawl with the local guard and village leader, run off to eat soup from every pot and get arrested.

Sometimes, when you read/write fanfiction, it illuminates logitistical problems in the original work that youâd have never really thought of before, because it didnât matter to the story, but now you see it you canât look away and it bugs the hell out of you.
Anyway, Garreg Machâs Officer Academy having a 1 year curriculum and also roughly 100-150 students per year is simply not sustainable when it exists as an almost exclusive club of FĂłdlanâs noble scions. There just arenât enough nobles to keep that up year-on-year-on-year. What few commoner students they have canât really make up for it either - Leonie had to have her entire hometown pitch in to pay her way. Itâs not something anyone can just get into, and they also have apparent room to exclude people who can pay, since Annette mentions that she needed a referral to get in despite being second in line for House Dominic and also possessing a Crest.
None of this matters! The storyâs not about the hundreds of nameless and faceless students from previous years. Who cares!

I found it completely accidentally through Youtube suggesting me a teaser for their new Hive faction. From their Youtube channels, the Necromancer and Dungeon towns look to be in 3D just like HoMM 5 was. That alone has got me very hyped, and I already wishlisted it on Steam.
I want to play it NOW, though.
