My PC is not gonna die! It’s just a loose fan but it needs to be fixed and I won’t get it back until tomorrow or Tuesday. Which yea, sucks cause this laptop is bad, BUT GOOD NEWS IT’S NOT DYING!
Anecdotally not really any thoughts. I left Horde behind a couple of years ago and overall just vibe a lot more with the Alliance in terms of aesthetics and thematics now. Cross-faction events still carry on, I’ll be it in a very different (not wholly to my taste) form as the dwindling Horde numbers mean that the events need to cater more towards peaceful coexistence and neutrality. I imagine guilds and people who desire RP-PVP above all are becoming highly concerned though that Horde is beginning to struggle to even muster the numbers for 50-60 people consistently for fights.
I don’t care about the Alliance, I just want to play a night elf. Much of my RP is cross-faction anyway.
Personal opinion:
Nelves, Dwarves and Draenei are the interesting people over on the blue side anyway.
Kul Tirans are slightly more flavoured humans (someone remembered to add salt)
Void Elves you could probably do cool stuff with but they’re about puddle depth still all this time later
I am sadly indifferent to Gnomes
A light doot so they lick their nose is my absolute favourite things to do to a cat
That’s okay so is Blizzard.
He was not impressed, it took a few boops to get him to lick it while he was trying to squirm away from me.
EDIT: He’s a very squirmy and wriggly tabby.
While not the most exciting thing, it does intend to make the game playable on modern systems without having to jump through the hoops for Machine Spirit’s amusement. Plus having all the expansions rolled into one is nice and, considering the reception dow3 received, it may be a way for the to reignite interest and open a door for game 4, hopefully with lessons learned.
Other than that, the only exciting things were the owlcat games. I sure don’t give a damn abiut the bazillion phone card games the franchise apparently has.
An actual disappointment was that trailer from the pov of an imperial guardsman. It started quite interesting, made me think it was some kind of narrative game or an rts… yeah, another mobile game.
Yeah, a friend and I chatted about it, and now I’m a lot more upbeat for DoW.
The rest, yeah. Some stuff I already knew about, some neat surprises, and then a whole bunch of mobile Whelm.
Man, I wish professions weren’t such a choked out grind now, unavailable to anyone who isn’t willing to play the market for materials or just endless grind those materials you can wind in the wild.
Why? Because it sure would be NICE if I had a CHANCE to get a Trinket and/or Wrists at the right level - you’d think as a Tailor I’d be sorted for Cloth Wrists but HA! No, loser! Get a ton of the ways down a skill tree you didn’t pick, so you gotta grind to unlock, and THEN get knowledge points to even get to the recipe, and then-
Nah, up yours and your RNG, Blizz. Sheesh…

The Rogue Trader CE had a Cassia (best girl) figure, so clearly that means Ra’akhti is going to be best girl of Dark Heresy.
secured my pre order of the reprint of the collectors edition for expedition 33
the devs deserve their flowers and i’m happy to fork out the cash for the goodies it provides
helpfully it is cheaper because it doesn’t include the game, given that everyone who is purchasing it obviously already owns it at this point
I have collected kroot since the tau were introduced in 2001 and only yesterday did I learn they have distinctive genders.
I got Simon’d again.
Time to build a one shot build for Maelle
There’s no real difference between them apparently.
While the Kroot do possess two genders, there are no real cultural differences between a male and a female Kroot. Physically, female Kroot are very difficult to distinguish from the males, and most observers find it nearly impossible to tell which is which. The Kroot’s unusual senses mean that the sexes are mostly distinct in ways unnoticeable to a human, and by the same token, most humans appear just as sexless to the Kroot!
- Into the Storm (2010), a supplement for the Rogue Trader TTRPG.
So not too surprising it never really came up before now. Though given how Kroot change based on what they eat, I guess if they only ate waifus they’d become more ‘typically’ feminine…? The fanfics and fanart will let me know if I’m right on that one.
If she doesn’t sound like a 50 year old man who smokes five packs a day, I will be very disappointed.
Get. Lune. Stacked!
