The world just really hates my paranoia today.
Huh, fair enough. Iâll mess around as I level I guess.
You know what you CANâT do, though?
Use the Darkfallen, i.e. undead Elf options, on Death Knights. You know⌠UNDEAD ELVES? Blizzard? Are you taking the Michael here?!
Oh well. I did the questline, at least. Itâs done. Itâs fine, itâs fine, itâs totally fine-!
made a breton knight in eso ahead of the new subclassing and my partner after telling him my plan sighed and just said âyou made beatrix ff9 damnit.â and i somehow did.
I was P69 (for the meme) last Friday in DBD on Alucard.
I am now P81.

In todayâs Secret Hitler session, one new player got strangely enthusiastic about the âyou can lieâ rule, and lied about her cards as a liberal president, thus casting suspicion on both herself and me, her chancellor and also a liberal.
She: âI had three blues.â
Me: âEr⌠I got a blue and a red, and picked the blue.â
Others: âAha! One of them is a fascist!â
Normally, if the president and the chancellor disagree about the cards they got, at least one of them is a fascist (and almost always exactly one, unless two fascists donât get their lies straight), because liberals have nothing to gain from lying in this game. The truth helps liberals more, and lies only help fascists. To be fair, she was new, and next time weâll just tell her not to lie as a liberal.
I feel like this is a new player thing in alot of âsecret roleâ games But in general, in most of those, you should only really lie when you need to. Even if you play a villanious role, being truthful most of the time until a certain point can really help alot.
Iâm re-reading Order of the Stick, and itâs fascinating how many of the D&D rules jokes written for 3.5e still hold up in the age of 5e and 5.5e.
Definitely not the jokes about bards being useless, though. 5e Elan would be a full caster powerhouse.
I wonder also what subclasses the Order would have in 5e. My guesses would be:
Roy: Battlemaster
Haley: Thief
Elan: No idea, College of Valor, maybe? Definitely not Lore.
Durkon: Tempest domain
Vaarsuvius: School of Evocation
Belkar: Huh. Hunter, maybe? Itâs the most straightforwardly âfighterâ subclass, Belkar doesnât really use any ranger class features.
When we used to play Werewolf in theatre, sometimes as a Villager Iâd lie and act suspicious just for the sake of throwing a wrench into peopleâs plans to keep them on their toes.
It also served the point of making the Werewolves think I was one of them, or try to use me as a useful idiot to vote with them, all the while Iâd be observing who was supporting my lying a bit too enthusiastically to suss out the real Werewolves.
Also the gaslighting served the purpose of when I was really a Werewolf, people might think Iâm just being a chaotic Villager for the sake of it.
My cousins wonât play these kind of games with me because of this u_u
How does that work though, cause, when I used to play werewolves, before the game begins, atleast the werewolves got to see who else was a werewolf. So if someone else is being weird then atleast the actual werewolves would know you were just being chaotic villager, no?
Because the werewolves need to eliminate people out via voting too, and itâs in their best interest to try and convince someone to vote with them. The wild card acting sus is the best patsy to get on your side in the social games aspect of it.
Sometimes we played it with extra roles, so they might have an ulterior motive to acting strange.
Makes sense.
I also find in these kind of games that indeed, it can be beneficial to go along with the others for a while, until you can pick the best moment to screw them all over.
Frost with a 2H sword seems to be working pretty well, at least levelling/random dungeons, so thatâs nice.
Now I need to get to the point where I can get the mogs I want At least the Anniversary armour does quite well for now.
You wonât be running mdi or race to world first, but itâs perfectly functional for casual play.
Doesnât change that frost dk is the most dull literal 4 button spec in the entire game, sadly.
True but, counterpoint - I main Ret Pally

Internet issues are quietly annoying. Iâve got plenty I can do and enjoy without it, but I donât like feeling that my options are artificially limited.
Two days ago it went down for most of the day at 10am, came back around 7pm.
Yesterday it went down at 9am, came back just before midnight.
So now Iâve got this quiet little itch saying "hey, it could go down any minute For hours
and thereâs nothing you can do about it
" and like shut up man.
For some reason, it really gets my back up when someone rocks up to a fishing pool I am already fishing at and starts fishing. Thatâs my pool! Go find your own!
Not any more, pal.
Dem fishes is mine.
Gonna leave a whole bunch of sharp stones in a 40yd radius around me when I start fishing. Enjoy your infected hoof! (And Iâve watched Hoof GP those things is nastee)
