DoS making you choose between bad gameplay and weak story is one of its most unfortunate problems - 1 feels almost unplayable solo because of how ridiculously clunky it is and inventory/skill managing 4-6 people makes me want to walk into the ocean
[to be clear, big party management is really bad for gameplay and lone wolf makes for a quite weak story especially in the last act because of the dearth of personal quests]
Donāt really mind equipment management.
Also donāt really inventory manage because mod that allows me to pick up everything on one character so only really ever sorting inventory on them.
Think this is the reason why I eventually get bored/fed up/exhausted before finishing the game. Feel like there are too many things to manage by the end of it.
On one hand, I donāt want to care and just play the game the way I want - on the other hand, Iād like to 100% everything and do everything by the book. (referring to guides, especially when building a character.)
"Oh, I got a quest reward, a choice of items!
Now to spend 5 minutes checking each of my characters to see which are upgrades to their current gear and if so which is the biggest upgrade!"

I found my missing towels, bed sheets and a pillow just by checking a black bag I had on my floorā¦ I really need to check those more often
D2 Ressurected infos here.
Idk to whom this might concern. But this looks like the early signs of another Warcraft Refunded.
āI should really clear my inventory of all these itemsā¦ but first I gotta check if any of these are an upgrade to any of my party members.ā
hnnnnnnnnnnng
I am very glad that someone else understands my pain
Also whoever decided that divinity 1ās āthis game only really works if you play with exactly one other person from beginning to endā gimmick was a good idea needs to be fired into the sun
Iāve tried the other divinity games, but never could wrap my head around them and if they are in anyway even connected.
Original Sin games are the only ones that I understand and actually enjoy.
For me Dragon Commander is a standout among the older Divinity games. The politics and relationships between factions are very interesting, but unfortunately the core gameplay, that being the scuffed rts mode, is so utterly horrible it legit kills the whole experience for me. It is a better dating sim than it is an rts.
Also punched The Red Prince in the face, that was satisfying.
Nah, I like him really but trying to get my character to be his slave after all weāve just been through.
The new AoE2DE DLC dropped so Iām afraid of playing any games now since they tend to make new Civs stronger to encourage people playing them
i donāt want 4v4 bohemians vs poles !!!
Same. All the stuff I heard about the politics and relationships between factions is what got me to check out the game, but as soon as I got into the gameplayā¦ I donāt know, I have this faint memory I couldnāt even figure out what I was supposed to do so I just dropped it.
It is a half-arsed rts where you can take part in the battles as a dragon, which sounds much cooler than it turns out to be. Other games done that far better. Overall, I will recommend Dragon Commander, but only if it is on sale, youāre into Divinity and can stomach going through pretty bad gameplay sections (though there are people that like even that part, so your mileage may vary).
Afterall, the game letās you do the based thing and take a skeleton woman for a wife, so it canāt be bad.
Iām still sad we never got to see an imp wife because she allegedly blew herself up
Edit: And depending on how far youāre willing to go, skeleton lady becomes quite a good pickā¦
Do you have multiple black bags around your place?
Just join them and spam Hussars for the meme. Make it as it should be.
Youāre a man of culture too, I see.

About the only Divinity Game I played though, but yes, that part I remember. Am honestly thinking of re-installing it again just to go through the dwarf and lizard wives, havent tried those yet.
Original sin 2 is certainly another one worth trying, but it is very different as Iām sure you picked up from all the discussions in this and the prequel thread. There the gameplay is itās strong part, for me anyway (not to say that everything else is bad).
I have some from when me and my bro swapped rooms 5+ years ago and some from when I tried to make sure there would be no/little damage from a moth issue we had.
My room as a whole is a mess and depression has never helped with that but now that I feel fine? I work through it.
