It feels really hard to say that FFXIV music is bad considering how different it all is.
Like yeah, as established there are parts that I donât like (the rock guy electric guitar stuff is just so generic sounding to me) but I canât exactly lump that, Investigator Extraordinaire, Heartless, Dragonsong, Who Brings Shadow, Insatiable, The Source and Nightbloom all into one group and judge it together.
Not in any greater detail than âmy overall impression after listening to it all is positiveâ.

i like different music, i think ffxiv music is very generic rather than different

My biggest gripe with FFXIV is the annoying FATE music. I am flying through a peaceful zone with my peaceful goobbue which can somehow fly and suddenly my goobbue flies over a FATE area, one of its tiny legs barely reaching the FATE zone.
Suddenly I am bombared with crappy 90s rock music and giant letters on my screen that say FATE JOINED, both things that I cannot disable. The peaceful music is cut out. Ozzy Osbourne is now knocking at my door.

Luckily thereâs a small delay before it kicks in past the initial stinger, and I have become quite shrewd at getting out of dodge before it does.
Arguments will be no more in 2025 when someone develops an AI that draws a soyjaks from photos of real people.
This WILL exist in our lifetime too.
Shrug. I donât like ESO but I donât see the need to go where people talk about it everyday and tell them how bad it is.
I donât think ESO is particularly great either, yet here we are, in a thread on the forums of a game most of us have quit in a thread where people constantly talk about how awful said game is and how awesome and better the other game is

pretty sure i saw an app recently that just forced a smile onto everyone
morphing faces into soyjaks in real time doesnât sound that much harder, especially since the worse its drawn, the better it gets

Start using it on celebs immediately.
I mute most games I play or have the volume low enough that I can listen to audiobooks or podcasts or whatever. Or just listen to spotify, I have a huge list of album recommendations Iâve been working my way through. Ended up in a big indie Japanese rock kind of area. Telecaster Stripes by Polkadot Stingray is especially recommended

personally my final fantasy is for final fantasy fans to simply feel comfortable enough in enjoying their game to not have to aggressively try and validate their thoughts on it every waking moment literally anywhere outside of final fantasy related spaces rather than get angry that people might not see it as godâs gift to mankind

But this thread has been used to discuss all manner of other games before, practically since its inception. I have seen plenty of discussion about everything from Kingdom Hearts to Persona 5 to all manner of other games I hardly know anything about.
Why is it suddenly a problem now?
No one is here to aggressively validate anything. Weâre just discussing a game we like in a community of people weâre already familiar with.

Nah, letâs not pretend the majority of talk hasnât been âfinal fantasy this, wow its so much betterâŚâ âwow final fantasy so awesome, way better than gameâŚâ âfinal fantasy best ohhâŚâ in like half of the threads that arenât about guilds or zombie fox people breastfeeding or whatever - and itâs everywhere, not just here!! i wouldnât even remotely mind it if it was a varied discussion rather than just a constant circle jerk of how much better functionally everything about it is than the competition at any given moment, whether relevant or no

try âin the aeroplane over the seaâ by neutral milk hotel - while i donât generally enjoy the acoustics, the other songs in the album are a lot of fun to listen to. âholland 1945â is wonderfully upbeat with very dark lyrics which make it a lot of fun to listen to
Iâm not sure how I feel about that name.

Is that⌠not pretty understandable, after having watched WoW deteriorate for who knows how long, only to find something that one perceives to not have the same flaws and becoming very excited about it?
It feels like youâre reading way too much malice into it. Itâs like moving from a very bad country to a very nice one, of course youâre going to be excited about everything and constantly talk about it.
I think WoWâs bad but I think it is incredibly, unfathomably lame to continuously bring up the other game ur enjoying so much for being so much better as a means to actively ridicule people still playing wow, on the forums for the server and community that theyâre playing wow on, because theyâre being silly little soyjak consumers or whatever
check out surfbortâs âbort to deathâ, especially banger song âhippie vomit inhalerâ, very invigorating stuff
