WoD was a cool concept that got dropped on its head and given up on around the end of alpha dev just to bring in Legion (:
And it didnāt stop there, they kept trimming and cutting content up until a few days before launch it was a mess and forever jaded me.

Remember this? I do, I was so excited for WoD and I didnāt even struggle to get into my garrison so I hit max level really quickly.
And then had very little to do afterwards. To be fair, that is what got me into RP but itās a shame having a barebones expansion is what drove me to make the switch.

Blizzard really was going all-in on WoD, wasnāt it? So much marketing, and I suspect the movie was also originally meant to be a WoD tie-in. The expansion itself was a flop, but at least they were putting effort.
and in true blizzard fashion they just simply dropped it and started working on the next expac nearly full time for absolutely 0 reason
so much wasted money on promotion and stuff just to call it a day xd

Things like that - streamlining a complicated thing for the sake of a film - are fine honestly.
It was the change to Garona that was really grim - making her Medivhās biological daughter rather than his lover just sours the whole thing and makes it look seedy when it isnāt
