Pet peeves: The return (Part 2)

tbh people just think fermented milk product = yogurt, but like there’s so many different types and also yogurt is with a specific bacterial culture used for that.
I just want people to stop calling everything yogurt when its not

name a more perfect pair
you can’t

I mean as a fellow Reaper, I consider this an absolute win of a scenario. Unemployment sucks.

Specific jobs eating dirt. Namely DRG and RDM after jumping away into something. We can add Reaper to the list now, I’ve seen a few throw themselves into a blast zone with Ingress/Egress.

A time honoured tradition that must be upheld.

“I need to tank this hit as a SAM to proc Third Eye->Hissatsu: Seigan” I say, “it increases my DPS!”

(actually they removed Seigan with Endwalker, probably because of this exact behaviour)

And that’s Dragoon 90

Gunbreaker’s turn now

I kept ingressing off the platform on the last trial.

i have a pretty good idea how far ingress throws me, but that platform was just throwing me off (no pun intended)

Do it on the raid wide AoE like a smart person!

Currently doing RDM myself and getting alts levelled, gonna just tank the 2k queue to get on alts.

As far as I know, kwark (in Dutch) is called quark in English - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quark_(dairy_product)

Very popular in usage here, since our loved kohuke is a bar made of quark and usually glazed with chocolate. But it’s always a pain to explain what it is, since most people haven’t even heard of quark, especially if they come from the US.

I’d rather say they’re more closer to cottage cheese than yoghurt though. Don’t know about skyr, not sure if I’ve had it but it looks a little like those quark desserts (quark pastes? sounds gross idk) we have.

Skyr is an Icelandic dairy product and is very similar to quark in terms of look, taste and how its made but is still its own thing. Also noteable is it tastes different to quark, similar but still distinct
It also is more close to cheese than yogurt

They shove the skyr in between the yoghurt and quark here so the grocery store science department agrees

I’ve had this happen when I tank leveling dungeons in WoW and idk how or why or where these people come from. They’re very, very strange.

They make “Skyr” here but add yogurt culture which… is not how its made. Then claim its authentic icelandic made with a recipe from there, which yeah you might have the recipe but adding the culture is NOT it.
They also just shove it in the dairy isle along the yogurt.

This is why:

I have no idea if any of the local skyr variants are authentic but I would like you to know that my brain has been defaulting to German the entire time since you mentioned food.

I really enjoy Tirans as a series, I just need about 20% more fighting.

Warhammer (40k) discourse over on bird app, and I think a lot of people, myself included, are still bitter thay the Tau were made grimderp after one edition.

The young, naive and new to the setting faction that could be used to look at thing with an unbiased eye and go “wait… you realise that’s terrible, right?”, and they spoiled it. Claiming ‘satire’ doesn’t work so well when you glorify the awful all the time, and I think it’s weighing on my mind more and more.

The grimderping is mostly relegated to one book written by someone who has an axe to grind with Tau.

Most sources, including their codex, still presents a lot of the stuff like mind control as unconfirmed Imperial theories (since they cannot understand a society built on harmony rather than hatred and fear).

Legion Timewalking has me yearning to play a Blood Elf. I dislike this, and fear retribution from the Void Lords for even considering it.
