So Iâve played through the Heavensward 3.2 story.
Without spoiling too much, Iâll say that while itâs not a particularly deep story, itâs the superb execution that sold me. And hey, by MMO standards it sets the bar really high. It deals with fairly heavy themes, and does them justice.
One downside is that it makes my memories of BfA even more bitter in hindsight, because I now know Blizzard released that expansionâs story the way they did when their competition already had this when BfA was in the planning stages.
Dealing with Warcraft-like themes so much better than Warcraft itself did.
Also⌠I love the RDM victory animation. It fits my RP character concept so perfectly that Iâm already thinking of possible ways she could learn to do that IC.
