A friend of mine who is a teacher in California: “I don’t have many students today. Some of them have tested positive, it’s a half day schedule to begin with. We’re playing games. We live in a society.
Today is the first day of holiday off work and… still so busy.
Trying to find the right paperwork for handing back my old rental house.
Trying to track down where I put the battery pack for my strimmer, as the garden path needs to be strimmed properly, and I still need to bag up the mown grass to chuck in the brown bin.
Going and buying flea-bombs because used to have a dog there, and NOW Im not sure if they said I needed that or de-odorising shampoo for the carpet, and getting to talk to people is apparently very hard.
Had to go and get 3 keys cut, and I wasn’t able to get 3-for-£10 from a machine as it was missing one type, so had to spend £25 instead…
After Monday, regardless of any additional drama handing the place back, I think I am going to reward myself with the gift of S L E E P…
If he didn’t want animal fulmsies, he should’ve specified!
