Wait, he’s creepy and hostile to female employees or just women in the general sense?
Bit of both, but also employees in general.
Jesus he just gets worse and worse.
He is almost like a 2nd Randy Pitchford, but alot more pretentious and atleast pretend to be less sleazy(badly).
Edit: A direct quote from him on his own wikipedia page, which was his response to when his studio was in a lawsuit for fostering a toxic workplace.
" Subsequently, Cage was reported to have stated that “In any case, in my games, all women are (Insert blunt name for women who work the streets)” and “At Quantic Dream, we do not make games for (insert slur against gay people)"
I see that D&D fandom is having a Real One™ over the fact WotC are removing built-in alignment from creatures and races.
I honestly thought I could expect better from people whose entire hobby revolves around imagination, but apparently not…
“If I can’t genocide the lesser races then why even bother”
Gygax, notable pooboy, would be proud
“I don’t want politics in my escapism!”
…Every damn time.
You’d think they’d have tuckered themselves out since Tasha’s is over a year old by now but the internet is nothing if not persistent in retreading the same ground over and over and over and over again.
‘Amused’ me that they updated their errata page with basically a point saying “please actually read what we’re changing instead of getting mad over what you think we’re changing, you reactionary tossers”.
Paraphrased.
It’s the same energy as Games Workshop having to make a post saying “Yeah, this was all designed as satire. Fascists are bad, actually. You got that part, right?”
There is an argument to be made, with some merit, that they strayed a little hard into unironically glorifying the factions that, actually, are supposed to be repugnant, such as that people with lower (read: no) analytical skills might miss it. But still…
Saw complaints re: the 5e changes that they were dumbing it down for children but clearly, sometimes, that’s necessary.
The part I love most, in all these things?
The plaintive bleating of “Go woke, go broke, go woke, go broke!!” from all these ‘super manly men’ who love to point out ‘snowflakes’.
All the while said companies are -checks notes- making record profits and seeing loads of new players getting enthusiastic. Huh. Funny that.
Edit: It’s tempting me more and more to make my next ‘try and finish this’ army a Space Marine force where they just wholesale went “Yeah, actually, why DON’T we recruit boys and girls?”, tried it with the info from the attached Techpriest, and found out it worked just fine. So now they’re tromping about enacting the plan of ‘Make the Imperium a bit less terrible, actually’.
Bonus points, I want to make them Ultramarines, just to enrage the grognards
Got the Forlorn shirt and trousers finally.
Doesn’t look as good as i imagined it would with the hexer hood.
finally the ultramarines can be good
Watched a bunch of tw3 videos about chaos unit rosters. Is it just me or do the rosters seem really small?
I get that comparing them to existing tw2 factions is unfair because they had years upon years of dlcs pumping up the numbers and obviously chaos faction will have their own dlc, but even looking at factions like Tomb kings and coast that did not have any additions post release (I think?), they just seem so small.
Unless of course the available lists aren’t full and some units just haven’t been revealed yet.
something something points fingers at blizzard
even though, how shocking, blizzard is anything but woke in actuality (and perhaps we should look at other companies that parade being woke around under a microscope as well, just in case)
Pet peeve? Sod that noise, we’re doing delights.
Witcher season 2.
That’s because they are small. Daemons were designed to be one army with all four gods combined, and before that they were all four gods combined as part of a larger chaos faction.
They had to scrape the bottom of the barrel to get all four to be proper standalone armies. In 40k they are still together, and in Age of Sigmar they have various new units to flesh them out that they can’t use in WH3 because, well, Age of Sigmar.
I see, that makes sense. I felt like the spider demon was out of place, as if pulled from 40k or doom and I can see why now.
SFO will probably add more stuff though and I’m waiting for the mod to be made before buying anyway.
Like some people already mentioned, Daemon rosters are sadly rather small given the fact they used to be one army upon a time.
Yeah, I expect they will be expanded through DLC and FLC.
