I love playing games and met some wonderful people in many different games/communities.
But as many people will also know, despite what games/gaming communities often promise in theory(Interconnectivity, meeting people across the world etc), in practise, it’s very often been a rocky road for anyone who wasn’t part of the traditional norm(younger white guys).
And since the ol’ GamerGate time, many communities across any kind of geekyness(but particularly gaming) has had pockets of varying size of gatekeeping alt-right clowns. Which has over the years both grown in some places, and shrunk in others.
Alot of progress has been made though, but still alot to go.
There’s a reason why my pathfinder games have the specific rule that paladins just have to be Good and antipaladins (or Blackguards if you’re not a coward) just have to be Evil
It’s a miracle, the washers and drying room was not occupied by this one dits in the middle stairwell for a change. Man can actually do his damn laundry for the first time in… too long.
Enjoy Ishgard and it’s splendid F the church plotline and dragons.
Ishgard is great, just not great in the sense of the casual racism and hierarchy but that kind of comes with the themes they chose for it.

Which is what makes the revolution story arc bits of HW so good, Aymeric really out there trying to turn a secluded sequestered nation around for a brighter future and trying to get some better relations to the other nations of Eorzea in the aftermath of the Dragonsong War.
Cuties are cuties, Stregobor. Lesser, greater, middling… it’s all the same. I’m not judging you. I haven’t only pet cuties in my life either. But now, if I have to choose between one cute and another, then I prefer not to choose at all.

Ultima Thule knocks outland skyboxes out of the park. Didn’t expect depression planet to look like this, but it fits. Also the music is so fitting. I like this melancholic lethargy they got going here. Well, I say I like it, but I mean I appreciate it for the mood it sets. Not done here yet though.
