I’d always be happy for more Burmecia and Freya/Frately content.
Big love for the rat people and dragon knights in general.
Having just played 10, I almost never did this. I think the only exception was when I knew Yuna was about to fight the summoner lady because it meant the fight was an easy clap when I’d probably normally lose. But even then I just didn’t bother for two of them.
Ubisoft’s NFTs in ghost recon have had very little in the way of sales, and if the calculations later in the tweetthread are correct the corpo has actually lost money in minting the NFTs in the first place (never mind arranging infrastructure for them).
Hope any+all corpos who do NFTs similarly lose all their money.
considering how vocal finnish people are about being finnish (btw did u know that as a finnish person they’re from finland? they have finnish names and do finnish things in finland!!) online i wouldn’t even be surprised anymore
If you want loud, obnoxious nationalism utterly divorced from material reality in a place that isn’t the US and A, try the balkans. It’s some powerful, powerful meme fuel.
Romania and North Macedonia will separately claim to be the true progenitors of Western culture, language and christianity itself with the proud people of Alexander’s continuous empire being natural allies with Pakistan of all things.
I reinstalled Baldur’s Gate 1+2 because I love them so much and I was pleasantly surprised that even now the modding scene is advancing and adding new things. The ever-popular tweakpack has added a great QOL option to boost your character’s speed by (50/100/150%, your choice) out of combat only. Considering some of the areas in the OG BG1 are quite large this is super appreciated and doesn’t impact on combat mechanics at all.
The Imoen Forever mod seems to have also fully released, so you can run around Athkatla in C2/C3 of BG2 without “oh my god I need to rescue my half-sister” hanging over your head the entire time. Not something I’d recommend to first time players of the game but good for replays.
Also looks like one dedicated modder has expanded on Aerie’s content in BG2 and given her a personal quest which she lacked otherwise, which is neat. Hope it’s good when I get there.
